Was Ngannou's torn knee ligaments a factor in the heel hooks?

What difference is it gonna make if your knee is already completely bust?

Gane went for the heel hook but Francis didn't even sweet. And you can't use strength to power out of heel hooks. Maybe Francis was even on heavy pain meds for his knees too.

The Kimura looked deeper than the leg locks did.
Those things don't hurt unless they're done right.
Maybe I'm wrong but from what I saw, he had the leg for a while with 2 or 3 grabs but never really saw him torque his leg enough to cause pain.

It's that, or Francis is a cyborg.

Ngannou knew he wasn't in danger and certainly didn't act like someone who felt threatened by Gane's ground game. In other words: Ngannou has done enough defensive grappling to know his knee, ankle, achillies and other tendons weren't in danger.

It was funny seeing Gane go for the heel hook which looked pretty good and Ngannou just giving him the death stare like he wasn't feeling a thing before escaping it.

1. No, pain meds aren’t allowed during a fight. Not even Tylenol.
2. “Tear” does not mean rupture. It’s usually measures 1-5, 5 being a rupture. If it’s a 2 it could impact training but is far from weak. Like a sprain.
3. Those leg locks were attempts to get a leg lock secured, not secured leg locks attempting to sub.

I figure TS is trolling, but hey, someone may want or need clarity.

When you've been through worse in life, you ain't going to bust a sweat over something like that.
