I don’t think so at all and I think in the first round we will see a slept Gane! The only way Gane can win this fight is to kick Francis in the head as hard as he could or catch him right on the button when Francis is in a awkward position. If Gane manages to do just that, then no one has a chance against him for long time.
Note, Francis comes at u ferociously and swings and willing to get hit as long as he hits u and it’s extremely hard to deal with that style even if u r an old pro and seen it all!
So my question is can Gane survive the blitz?

He has a good command of distance and defense, so if anyone has that chance, it's probably him.

But Big Frank only needs one shot to bounce domes off the canvas. He will need to keep his defense on point at least until Ngannou gasses.

He didn’t blitz Stipe. That seemed to be a one time thing vs Rose. If he takes a measured approach against Gane. Then Gane will pick him apart. Ngannou’s best gameplan would probably be an insane bullrush. Because he’s not winning a point fight.

Without a doubt he could.

doesn’t mean he will.

Gane's pretty slick.

In terms of outmaneuvering Francis I think he's the best equipped HW on the UFC's roster. His footwork is outstanding, however:

Big Frank will be training for this. I think he's gonna murk the Big Frog by counter-strike or blitzkrieg

Most likely didn't want to run into a double/single leg so he planted and took it slow.

Just focus on what he did vs Lewis. He would turn and run. So throw your strikes late, chase him down first and keep chasing him before throwing strikes. Have him run into the cage and corner himself or trip up trying to maneuver away from the cage. Cut him off and don't throw strikes too early. Just know he's going to move back every time you move forward to strike, so plan your strikes and combinations according to that. Take an extra step forward before throwing anything.

It’s not just speed he has but uses good footwork technique as well, that is as important
He can use good footwork with a measured approach. But most punches had missed in that blitz so I would not call that great footwork. Thankfully, only 1 punch needs to land.

I think he would go for a take down if he ever tries to blitz him.his fight iq is top notch so I wouldn’t be surprised.and I think he would dominate Francis on the ground.

Sorry I was talking about Gane there, I reread and can see why it wasn’t clear, but yea Gane is fast and has great footwork, makes him very hard for HWs to catch

I think them training together increases his chances big time. Gane's footwork and speed and unique heavyweight style won't be new to Ngannou.

Ganes coach stated after the interim title fight that the only thing that surprised him was the finish did not come by headkick because they had devoted such a large portion of their camp to it.

That may have not been the word for word phrasing but that was the jist of it, so they appear to be preparing for it when it inevitably comes irrespective of opponent.

Ngannou appears to divert from the "gameplan" often but its hard to imagine his coaches wouldn't tell him that Gane is the worst opponent to "blitz" due to the kicking game.

Gane is arguably better at striking with his legs than his hands.
