What's going on here!?

I thought anime was for degenerate virgin losers with no social life. Meanwhile Izzy and Stephen are repping anime. So is it ok to like anime? I know Netflix has been adding more and more anime in to their collection but I just assumed people have the same attitude as Colby in regards to this genre of entertainment.

I would say that Stephen Thompson is a much cooler person than Colby. He's a grown man comfortable with what he likes while Colby pays women to be in his video and uses terms like balls deep as a 33 year old man

There is a video of the Brazil army when a whole squad sings a song of naruto in Japanese. I think, tbh, anime lost his bad reputation. Hentai still have it, although

Anime is sick. Tons of anime relate to mma and fighting in general such as mainstreams like Dragon ball z, Naruto and one punch man. I'm sure a large portion of the current ufc roster would admit to some early interest taken from dragon ball z especially.

I agree!

Stephen Thomson is the real life polar opposite of Mike Barnes from Karate Kid. Instead of being Karate's bad boy, he is like this happy go lucky guy who is super nice to everybody.

No way!

I know that Nonito Donair loves Hajime No Ippo but of course he is a boxer who loves boxing anime. I didn't know fighters are in to this stuff.

Dragonball Z is like the ONLY exception. For some reason people love it and most of them do not like anime one bit. I feel like Dragonball transcends anime and its own genre. I am in my 30s and when I was a kid, people loved dragonball and they would say "I hate anime but dragon ball is dope!"

I know its the same thing but it hit different for most people.

I think grown men can do what they choose to. I doubt WB cares what others think of him.

I was taught girls care about what others think as they don’t want to be ostracized from the community.

Is Voltron considered anime? If so I guess I've liked an anime show before. I liked that as kid big time.

Yes, Naruto was really popular. The video starts with the sargent asking the soldier: "do you regret that tattoo?". And then the soldier answers: "yes, i made it when i was a Naruto fan". Then the sergeant replies: "Now, you are fucked, i am a great fan of Naruto, and you will need to sing one song in japanese, there is more than ten". And then this soldier start to sing while the sergeant says " who know the song sing together" and then almost all squad start to sing. Lol

Anime is a lot more mainstream now, so full-blown Weebs make up a smaller percentage of Anime fans these days. And a lot of things in Naruto relate to martial arts so Wonderboy, and Izzy probably relate to it more than the average person, but you just have to give it a chance, I used to have the same opinion of Anime until I started watching it

And to be fair most Weebs are fine, but there is a huge portion of them that are introverted incels lol, I think they tend to be more attracted to Japanese culture because of that. Also, there is a lot of creepy, perverted, and even :eek::eek::eek:philic shit in Weeb culture so I never take someone hating on Anime personally, that stereotype isn't totally unfounded

It's kinda like saying you don't watch MMA, but you do watch McGregor fights
