News Alan Jouban announces his retirement from MMA

Enjoyed many a Jouban scrap.

Best of an all that.

Not sure I'm sold on him at the desk but decent enough or on par with others they have stint.

He's got a future in front of a camera, obviously, so good for him. Really haven't like him in the studio doing analysis thus far though, but whatever.
truthfully it's extremely hard to come off eloquent and coherent in the booth, and I think they gave him a few chances but not as many as Yves and Yves always showed up stoned to the gills. Like hearing him speak and the way he looked would put me to sleep as much as I am fan of the guy, I hated his commentary

He calmed sown on the last broadcast. Before he was talking faster than an auctioneer and tripping over his words.

Kinda weird. I actually liked watching him fight, he was pretty good

EDIT: Woah, mans is 38 already, guess it makes sense

Smart move.

I thought he was the perfect fit on the broadcast team. He seemed like a natural.
I'm glad he's gonna be there permanently now.

congrats on a good career. 38 is a good time to call it quits.
