Yes this is an article but it is written by a professor of media study at university of texas and she quotes her book on the topic.

How does it make sense for the few female champions take as much as all the male champions??

This is the media's logic in a nutshell.....

Instead of saying everybody is getting fucked by the UFC, they will only focus on the female portion....once the females are getting ripped off like the males, they won't say shit....because inequality doesn't sell, gender inequality does.


The media never wants to focus on the whole enchilada....they do this with every news story...just distractions and they never talk about the root....Like they focus on police shootings instead of the massive wealth inequality in the country, is pathetic.

Reminds me of women’s soccer when they complained about being paid less. Their stadiums are always empty and it was so bad that Manchester City had to offer fans free ticket to watch them. US women’s team is ranked the top in the world yet got ragdolled by teenage boys so it sums up everything.
