it has nothing to do with legitimacy or interpretation
a KO is when the guy goes completely unconscious (which Hooker did not)
a TKO is when a fight is stopped by the ref or doc

People are overrating UFC devotion on here. Chandler walked down #6 and beat him up like he Hooker owed him lunch money. Hooker wasn't competitive with Chandler. The question is who can be competitive with Chandler's combo of power striker and MMA wrestler. I think he beats Dustin but that's the best fight. If they give Oliveira (who is also deserving) the shot with Dustin then give Gaethje to Chandler. What will people say if Chandler takes down Gaethje, beats him up bad and then submits him? Chandler talks good but I don't really include that or instagram follower stuff in my decisions.

Its weird how Dana has often referred to Bellator as a b league and you could see a bit of smugness when Askren got sent to heaven by Masvidal. Yet he seems to be promoting Chandler like no one else. Is it because Chandler has played along with DWs viewpoint of "Bellator being the b league" or it is just because DW naturally strongly promotes guys who he personally gets along with? You could always tell he hated Askren but seems to really like Chandler hence why he's giving him the title opportunity. in no world but danas world does Chandler deserver it over Oliveira.

That's why Uncle Dana has to get to work with his underlings and make good fights so we can see who the best is. If Chandler gets KO'd, I shut up, he shuts up and we move on. If Chandler destroys Gaethje or even Dustin then it's something different. The best way is the Baldfather put the best fights together and it gets settled in the ring. Hard to settle it on Sherdog.
