He "can" win. I know. It's a tough task. A real tough matchup.

Conor has okay cardio, I'm not hatin'....but it's a tad questionable IMO. Maybe not one of his strongest attributes as an MMA fighter. Though, that was more of a thing we saw when Mcgregor fought Diaz at 170 and carried those extra pounds...

But anyway, I still think Porier's gas tank is a step above McGregor's. If Dustin can survive the first 2-3 rounds, play defense, and then push the pace without getting clipped with a big left...I like his chances in a back and forth fight in those later rounds.

Really turn it up in the championship rounds and turn this is into a gritty fight and make Mystic Mac work.. especially against the cage.

That being said....... McGregor by 2nd round TKO

P.S. - Haven't posted in a while. Hope all of my sherbros are staying healthy! We need more MMA!!!!!

His best chance of winning is going on defense in the first few rounds. If he comes right at Conor he'll likely get sparked.

This is one of the hardest fights recently for me to pick a winner. Part of me thinks Dustin is way above Conor’s level now and he runs right through him. Another part thinks Conor will barely tap Dustins chin and he will go down.

the longer this fight goes, the better chance dustin has of winning imo

Easy fight for Conor..

Dustin will prance around in circles until he gets slept by a punch.. It might go 2 rounds this time

Dustin was gassing hard against Hooker by the end of the 2nd. He was coming off hip surgery or whatever, but if he hasn't fixed this up he's not going to be able to make the most of a gassed Conor.

He has to threaten something that mcgregor will have to respect and make him work and I don't think he has anything in his arsenal that can do that. If he tries to flurry his way in and try to pressure Conor back, ask Conor's gonna do is slip and counter him. If he tries to grapple with Conor, Conor will be fine there too. I think Conor could even catch him coming in Dustin shoots naked without much set up

What makes you think he's levels above Conor? I'm genuinely curious.

we'll know real quick if dustin will win if he starts exchanging with conor off the bat in rd1 he'll lose if hes laid back and chooses his strikes carefully and turns it on late rd2 he has a shot

ill be really impressed if dustin wins while going blow for blow in rd1

Dustin has been active and improving. I dont know if conor has been training hard or drinking on a yacht for years. But like i said Conor might tap him on the chin and he goes out. So hard one for me to call.

Conors entire game is based on confidence. When he gets tired that confidence goes away. if Dustin survives 8 minutes he wins. if he doesnt he loses.

I'll be rooting for Dustin but I think he gets starched. I'd be happy to eat crow on this one.

A lot of people sleeping on Conor lately, some of y'all forget he's only lost one striking battle his whole career. That's against Diaz, a notoriously high level striker himself who, between his chin and his volume, is a nightmare match-up for Conor. If Conor hasn't lost a step yet, I expect him to ice poirier pretty quickly.

I honestly don't know why anyone thinks this fight is even going to be competitive, Conor-Cowboy part 2, early 2nd round at the absolute latest
