Inspired by a recent thread , curious to know what sherdoggers thoughts are total on UFC mistaches / squash matchces to build up a prospects, contenders etc let's stick with something somewhat mid / to post UFC zuffa era.

Two randoms that that pop to mind are..

In recent memory? Adesanya vs Costa. Shevchenko vs that one chick who didn’t land a strike
 
Didnt realize the size difference was that vast.
Fedor is really used to that shit though. Probably more than most.


In hindsight that streak Fedor was on is so bizarre looking back on paper just for the names he faced between Strikeforce and Bellator.

Monson, Ishii, Rizzo, Singh, Maldonado.

Crazy to think Maldonado gave him the most trouble aswell.

For Fedor's game to work,hes got to have all his tools at his disposal. Once some of them levels started dipping,he couldnt mix it up in the ways he made it so effective. Obviously Fedor in his prime coulda just taken maldonado down,but it looked like he just couldnt in this fight. We didnt really see him go for any kind of takedown again until he fought Mir. He was able to do it but that former explosiveness was mostly absent
