I want information, one article says Burk Road and another the Freeway. Which was it and if it was the freeway were they parked properly on the shoulder and would there be something blocking the view. Either that or the truck driver was drugged out and deserves a harsh, harsh sentence.

They were stopped in the emergency lane. There shouldn't be any vehicles travelling in it at all. Visibility shouldn't have been that bad, it was right at sunset.

He did not render assistance and instead fled. I believe he has an extensive criminal history. To say he's fucked is putting it mildly.

In the states you're protected by good samaritan laws. And failing to render aid can be failing to call emergency services, doesnt have to be CPR or anything like that.

Cops could have pulled over an old lady with a brake light out and been in the exact same position. Only person at fault here is the truck driver.

If you're a millionaire financial advisor with a 911 and spiky hair, I've got no doubt that at some point in time you've done something more than worthy of a stint behind bars. But this guy isn't responsible for the death of these cops.

It's a bit strange how every article specifically mentions Porsche in the headline, instead of just generically saying "sportscar". Even the diagrams of the scene always refer to it as "Porsche" in every instance.

Why is the focus not on the truck driver? Not even a mention of the truck's make. That'd be no less relevant than the brand of car the speeder was driving.

He is a piece of shit that was speeding. He did not kill the officers and why was no one paying attention of their surroundings? There was 4 offficers there that sadly died. One of them should have been paying attention.

This accident has been all over the news in Australia. Porsche guy named Richard Pusey became number one public enemy. It's still unclear how it started or why the truckie was on the emergency lane but investigations are still ongoing and all the focus is on Mr Pusey.

- 4 Highway patrol officers stopped Porsche driver who was speeding and waited for the tow truck to come to impound the Porsche.
- Truck driver ignored the 40km/h sign, switched to the emergency lane and sped 110km/h then crashed into all 4 patrol officers.
- Porsche driver mocked directly to the dying cops saying all he wanted was a sushi, took picture of them, shared on social media then fled (later caught).
- Porsche driver identified as mortage broker Richard Pusey who is a millionaire and has a long list of criminal history.
- Pusey came across as a sociopath and acts like Patrick Bateman.
- Truck driver still under investigation but is believed to have a medical episode.

This is the fucking attitude right here. If you don't have time to react to traffic slowing in front of you, that means you're driving wrong. That's inexcusable and it's a joke that we take this so nonchalantly. They're effectively saying "It's not his fault, he didn't have time to react. Could have happened to anyone". Fuck. Off.

The truck driver is the issue here imo. I think it's a pretty natural reaction when you see four people die to want to get the fuck out of there. The weird shit Porsche guy said after the crash was likely a product of shock.

After the Humboldt truck crash where I gave the truck driver way too much of the benefit of the doubt (just couldn't believe it could have been such callous disregard for human life) I am blaming the truck driver 100% until proven otherwise.

There was an incident in Canada that covered a truck driver running a stop sign and crashing into a bus load with a youth hockey team on board. The thread was on sherdog. Unreasonably a couple posters came to the driver's defense stating it was not his fault because of a treeline or it could have happened to anyone. I was not one of them but just saying, it pissed me off reading those comments.
