Mousasi Speaks Out Against MMA Drug Culture

“The stupidity of fighters, knowing that they’re gonna get tested," Mousasi told The Score, "and they still do it! It shows how desperate they are. So it’s usually a sign that people have been abusing it before, that they don’t feel they can do without it.”

“And TJ Dillashaw, for a long time it was suspicious that he did steroids. And after USADA came, he still did it. They didn’t catch him the first two times, but eventually they caught him.

“There’s nothing to say about those guys. If you win a fight, you deserve it. It’s yours. But let’s say if you do steroids or you do some different things and you win it, then you steal something from the other guy. That’s the way I see it.

“It’s in the rules: no steroids. It’s the same as don’t go through a red light, don’t kill anybody, it’s a rule. And if they don’t follow it, they should be punished--and not very lightly--I feel, a lot heavier.”

Speaking on a recent episode of Chael Sonnen’s You’re Welcome podcast, TJ Dillashaw discussed his decision to cheat, explaining that it had a lot to do with his weight cut down to 125 pounds.

All agreeable words. Somewhat ironic that he spoke them on a podcast hosted by Sonnen.

Edit: nevermind. Misread that last paragraph

Mousasi also said that he likes Jon Jones so he won't say anything

Greats recognize greats

Steroids are what the true fans want to see. We don’t want to see dad bods go to decision. JBG is the fastest growing religion for a reason

Why would Dillashaw lie about that when he's one of the only guys to admit that he willingly cheated? PEDs serve various purposes, having easier weight cuts is one of them.

PEDs don't help fighters win fights. The best evidence is pretty clear on this point. If you look at the PED tests results, and fight outcomes, then it is clear that fighters who tested positive after a fight did not win more often than their negative opponents.

Taking PEDs is comparable to parking in the wrong area, and not to running a red-light or murder. LOL

Better question: why would he jeopardize his career against an undersized opponent, technically quite an epic non-D2BG move, legacy-wise?
