He made his MMA debut almost 10 years ago.

You can say almost the same thing about MW and people think MW is great.

holy crap, I did not know JDS was only 32.... he is starting to age like the Nog brothers...

This is also why the demands that Jones move up immediately before he takes care of business against Cormier, Rumble and Gus are so ridiculous. He could wait another five years and still be prime age for a HW contender.

This thread's subject is much older than that.

And all ppl talk about is how shot and old he is and that he shouldnt fight anymore, all because of 2 cain fights....

fuck off.

That's nuts. I think going forward, raising HWs is something the UFC is going to have to consider carefully especially as CTE is focused on more and more in the NFL and elsewhere. HWs are going to absorb more damage, so starting them too young is going to lead to a series of concussions and an early exit to the sport. I think of Struve as an example of this. Perhaps the better path is for more fighters to transition from LHW as they progress in their careers as many think Jones will do.

32 is young for a HW when you think about it, he could fight for 12 more years no probs

It looked like a roided Vitor versus someone like Tank Abbott at ufc 10 the other night.

Junior was fucking ripped while Big Ben looked like he came in straight off a bar stool.

People act like JDS is shot, but he's only lost 4 fights. Lawler has been STOPPED 6 times, Rumble has been stopped 5 times.

Yeah...no problems at all. lmfao

If he fights until he's 44 I'm gonna feel so bad for his kids and wife.

Hunt is 42 and still easily in the top 10.
