Media 3 Minutes Of Epic Mike Goldberg Fails

I get why the UFC had to get rid of Goldberg to remain cutting edge, but I thought he was great at the time and for that era.

In Goldie's defense, I knew a kid with Stipe's last name and he pronounced it exactly the same My-oh-sick and not mee-uh-chich

Goldie is still better than the douchebags we have today.
Fuckin dude was a hockey guy, and they brought him in.

He was always a professional even when he fucked up, his energy was addicting, and he was fun.

Then the UFC swept him under the rug like he didn't carry the broadcast for 20+ years.
Fuck them for that.

I dont think he was a good commentator, but I still think for all the work he did, they could have done something for him. It was so fucking ODD that they did NOTHING at all.

Michael Jordan-esque, is the Sherdog posting of @Shilajit . He definitely smells the opening.

Id rather listen to him than what we have that's for damn sure sir.

Not only didn't they do anything for him, he found out online he was out iirc.

The one thing he was good at,was matching Joe's genuine passionate excitement for the crazy moments happening in the cage.

I am pretty sure the Ronda Rousey "takes alot of energy to be a rockstar" comment is what got him fired though lol.

Joe Rogan was like "you gotta be fuckin kiddin me"

All this crazy shit is happening and this doofus is going into full robot mode.

He didn't get fired that I know of, I believe they didn't renew his contract.

Well you know what I mean. They probably were like thats it,fucker.

Got rid of the voice of the UFC for Mr (custody battle) Anik.

Anik hasn't made a single call that people all over the world repeat.

Just like that..... it's all over....Goldie all day for me sir.

I still don't get why people clown him so much for saying that. I always took it as hik saying that maybe the added pressure and obligations were finally getting to Ronda, hence the reason she was getting lit up

I can see why some people might think that, but knowing Goldberg's overall goofy commentating style I personally don't believe that was the context he was going for.

Joe seemed to think he was trying to save face for Ronda too which is why he responded so aggressively in that moment.

Goldberg > Anik

Mike always has had more personality, and his mistakes were more rare than the OP video implies.

Goldberg seems like the type of person you would want to have some beers with. Unintentionally funny.
