3 Meals a Day?

Like most people I grew up eating 3 times a day but gotten into a habit of eating twice a day due to boxing career (once after my morning work out and once after my afternoon workout). I haven't eaten 3 meals in a day for so long that now it feels weird to me. I usually wake up a bit later than most and I hit the gym the first thing. I eat a decently big meal lunch right after before I head to work. Then I eat dinner after work. I can't imagine fitting in another meal. I would be way too full to eat again unless it's after midnight or something.

Anyone else feel it's weird to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner?
 
I eat breakfast about once every two months. I'm not hungry when I wake up and covfefe keeps me going till round noon.
 
I'm surprised you don't get hungrier throughout the day - I normally eat 8 small meals portioned throughout the day. When I was in my off season for bodybuilding, I would set my alarm during the middle of the night to squeeze in 2 more meals.

I tried intermittent fasting, and only ate during a 6 hour window, my blood sugar would get wonky going 18 hours without food.

I don't think I could do 2 meals a day (in addition to getting hungry) because I don't think I can eat alot during a single sitting without feeling sleepy. If I had a heavy meal (1000+ calories), I would be falling asleep in the office.
 
I read it's better to eat multiple smaller meals per day, which makes sense because if you eat as you need energy, less energy is stored as fat maybe?

Always breakfast and dinner. I dont always eat a proper meal for lunch, but i need to have a snack.
 
I eat three a day, I’m still tubby but lost about 20kg a while back due mainly to exercise. Have to eat breakfast, would struggle without it that’s for sure.
 
Three a day works out fine for me most of the time. Occasionally, I might eat more meals than that, but smaller sizes. I typically eat about what I need for my current level of activity.

You know, the blood sugar thing is a good point. I sometimes find myself getting sleepy or tired during the day and I always attributed it to my morning workout or lack of restful sleep. My eating habits could be a factor. I should try eating less after my workout and eating light snacks instead throughout the day and see if anything changes.

I read this then read the opposite is true with intermittent fasting. I don't stress about an eating schedule now and just eat when I feel like it and it's convenient.
 
I eat two meals a day also. Anymore it feels strange eating dinner.
 
6 meals a day. 250-300 calories each.
 
I usually only eat full meals if I'm going out. Typically just snack on stuff all day
 
I usually make a breakfast smoothie, easy and quick, then have lunch and dinner.
 
Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.
 
Well I actually ended up having 3 meals today. Had a small breakfast after waking up but for some reason I really wanted to make this noodle dish so I made it and ate it for a late lunch even though I wasn't hungry. I didn't plan on eating dinner but one of my students invited me to eat with her friends and treated me so had a really late dinner as well. I feel like a fatass being this full this late.
 
I'd eat breakfast 6 times a day if I could.
 
I usually do lunch and dinner sometimes I'll just have dinner
