Weight at Day 12: 289 lbs ..........
23ixnp5.jpg

I see some improvements in the mirror, albeit minor ones, so the reason is the yesterday's meat heavy diet, plus one week ago I weighted in at empty stomach.

Still, DAMN IT! I expected to be in low 280s. But alright changes needed to be made then, wasn't as diligent as I should be.

1. More cardio, less weights.
2. Reduce calories under 2000,
3. Reduce carbs.
4. Walk more, drive less.
5. Drink at least 2 liters of clear water per day.

Training: Hardcore weight lifting - 1.5 hours - around 700 calories. Lifted 500lbs for deadlift twice, then went for another rep in 30 seconds. Something snapped when I was doing bent over rows. Sounded like bone grinding on a bone. Minor discomfort so far. 315 for reps for squats, I have read Starting Strength now, and yeah, it gives good advices regarding barbell.

Still heartbroken over 1 lbs loss, but I will push through.

Sounds like you're an emotional eater and using schoolwork as an excuse to gorge.

Yep. Food is the only drug I use (not a smoker or drinker ), when I am stressed or have to concentrate - I tend to overeat.

I am working on it.

You seem to be doing pretty well, except for your days you gorge.

I often run into the same problem. I'll be making great progress having a good week, then bam, one day off and I'll consume >4k calories. Mine is usually attributed to too much alcohol, though.

It can put me back an entire week.

Same boat here brother. Biggest problem with me is when my I do break - I tend to say "fuck it I already cheated - might as well eat whatever I want and I will work it off starting from tomorrow". I noticed that's where my weight comes from, since if overeat, I can easily reach 7-8k calories.

Are you sure your scale isn't broken? I'm 6'3 and 190 right now, I'm in better shape than you but you sure as fuck don't look 90 pounds heavier than me.

Every time I tell people I am ~300lbs - they always get surprised, maximum i got was 240. I am thickly muscled and big boned, but pushing 30% body fat, so the proportions and height kind of mask it on the photo.

Heaviest was 320lbs playing rugby when I was 20 y/o. Born and raised in Siberia bro ;).

Day 15: Excellent day - I spent all day studying on empty stomach.

I realized that calories in/out is just not going to cut it for me. It gives too much freedom, too hard to count, and you end up eating the wrong foods thinking it doesn't matter. Plus you remove the bonuses you might have had with meal timing.

Now I will try IF, since it worked for me before, and today it felt very liberating.

Workout: Finally got my ass to jog - low pace 45 minutes without stop. Body weight circuits after that - 15 minutes.

Diet:

Note: Could not fall asleep - so had to cook brown rice , around 1.5 cups and some corned beef with an egg. Worked wonders, but add 900 calories.
So far intermittent fasting is working out great - no hunger.

Day 16: Another solid day.
Study, 3 hours, 3 hours of grappling/boxing, 30 minutes of jogging. Only bad thing is that I slept from 4 am till 10.30. Need to work on my sleep.

Bought Stevia! Yay. Too much tea for me with 3 sugars.

Pulled out of April amateur fight. With weight, finals - it is simply too much to handle right now.

I know calories are a little low, but so far I feel good. Last night I ate too much to fall asleep, I won't make the same mistake again.

If I ll eat something else - I will post here.

Damn it! 2 carrots (140 cals), Corned beef - 200 grams (190 calories), 1/3 onion - 30 cals.

I'm curious as to how your lifts hold up on such low calories.

We're real close in size. I'm 6'6", 310 lbs. That's down from 326 on March 11. My average daily calorie intake during that time has been 2683, with a daily high of around 3500 on March 21 and 24 and a daily low of 1903 on March 18.

My lifting has been steady though. I hurt my back on March 14 and was out through the 20th. Been running 5/3/1, yesterday just hit a PR on OHP of 160x4.

I'm trying to get my weight down to 280.

I don't see guys bigger than me often huh. I am not going to sustain this deficit for too long, but so far i felt good.

I don't really care about my lifts, I am actually concerned with increasing my jogging endurance - but so far I feel like they increased.

If your goal really is to lose that weight QUICKLY, you should abandon your lifts and just run.

Yeah.. I am starting to feel the same way.

I do need to lose it ASAP, mostly because my knees bother me, but I have to start the camp soon. I would prefer to remove as much stress from joints. Plus wearing 2XL is getting annoying, I miss XL.

Day 17: Yet another good day, got a Gustaffson haircut, looks good.

Monster cardio today fueled by rediscovered Hydroxycut hardcore pill lol. I have to say some supps work. Jogging - 55 minutes low pace, 30 minutes on Epi. machine, around 1100calories spent.

Probably should have skipped the ice cream , but what the heck.

day 18: 7/10.

Tired as hell whole day. Still fall asleep late, wake up late, and even had a 5-7 p.m. nap today.
Had a good workout : Boxing/sparring, Padwork, 15 minutes of kettlebells, Russian style. Sparred with 135lbs girl for 10 rounds, doesn't hurt she is WBC amateur champ hah. I mean it did hurt a little ). Coaches said I leaned out. My spine looks more defined, weight ins tomorrow to see whats up.

Woke up last night at around 4.30 a.m., realized that I need to eat something or never I won't sleep. That's why I ate so much rice and pork, and blasted noodles.

Otherwise, only around 1300 calories since "waking up".

This is how I get around 12-1 a.m.

day 19: Weight : 288.1 lbs God damn it! Almost 20 days and just 4 pounds lost, WTF.
Day was extremely busy, gym, car check up, buying some things at the mall, and taking my friend (female huh) for a movie.
I got pretty damn mad about weight and refused to eat junk food, but didn't eat much today, and I already feel sleepy as hell.
Training: 2 hours of boxing (1 hour striking, 1 hour padwork), 1 hour of circuit training (intense), 20 minutes of jogging. Pretty tough workout today.

PICS!!!!!!!!!!! No change noted.

Try less distance running and more wind sprints, high intensity interval training, and suicides. Quick bursts. Very explosive sessions.

Weight train the same way. Strength train 5sets 3-5reps 75-85% max. Mix in plyometrics as well.

Thanks for chipping in mate. I am doing MMA almost everyday and KB conditioning, so that counts I suppose. Jogging wise - sprints will hurt my knees, but slow jogging, in my exp. is absolutely great for dropping weight.

I am still figuring stuff out. I want to do jogging for a week or two, if results will be bad - I will try more circuits.

Still, when people comment - it is very motivating.
