This is the setupI'm sure the lenses helped but you can't tell me you get the same result using a phone then one of those big heavy professional cameras that only have one job and purpose.
From the youtube trailer I know compression and all that but other movies trailers look better so it has affected the movie. Artistic choice to look similar to the first one but then again they had no pull and resources so it was used from necessity to hide the shortcomings but now the budget is 10 times bigger and they go with a freaking phone camera.
It’s going to look great
First thing i thought of was this scene. They went through the effort of showing human blood dripping from the bird into his eye.nit actially changes everything if it was just a drop from the bird but because its the corpses blood it shows it wasnt transferable at the time.Maybe the virus is zoonotic
The rage virus is zoonotic, it jumps from chimps to people in the beginning.Maybe the virus is zoonotic
Explaining this to pepple who didnt understand why ...The rage virus is zoonotic, it jumps from chimps to people in the beginning.
So, being a virus it could have evolved and jumped back or gone into a latency period.
Men, too…. Maybe the worst film I’ve seen in 10 years. 28 Days, Ex Machina, Dredd were all great films but his bad ones outnumber the good now - and it’s been a decade since his last good one.Isn’t Alex Garland the one who did that ridiculous Civil aware movie?

Official Trailer for Danny Boyle's 28 YEARS LATER Starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle and Academy Award®-nominated writer Alex Garland reunite for 28 Years Later, a terrifying new story set in the world created by 28 Days Later. It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well. In theaters June 20, 2025.

That’s an awesome trailer. The audio they use is genius it’s creepy and matches the tempo of the trailer.

What a great trailer, hopefully the movie holds up. 28 Days is a masterpiece, 28 Weeks is still a serviceable zombie movie
Yea, the audio is so frickin creepy and sets the perfect tone of despair that these people must exist in every day, I didnt realize it was a poem, I thought it was some sort of emergency radio system broadcast in the film, giving out daily information to survivors sorta like those Russian numbers stations
