I’m surprised Habs didn’t sell a player or two. But they are 1 point out of a playoff spot, so it’s all good in the hood.

I like Cozens, but I dont like any of the trades Ottawa made today.

I guess we'll see

Young team, just need that nr 1 D and great goalie. Might not make playoffs this season but on paper atlest looks poised to be a force coming years

My cucks getting brutally besmirched by this thread title smh.

Thank God. This was a super weird deadline by the Devils, ultimately I'm glad that they didn't waste even more assets to save a season that is basically over.

Marchand only cost a second that will turn into a first if the Panthers win 2 rounds and he plays 50% of the games. And Boston is even paying 15%

'The hell are the Bruins doing, end of an era. I mean they are pretty weak this year compared to the past two and need a younger, faster team, but letting Marchand and Coyle go just feels wrong

holy shit. boston just traded marchand to florida for a conditional 2027 2'nd round pick!

50.00% of contract was retained by the Boston Bruins in a trade to the Florida Panthers.

holy shit they just got fleeced.

unless this is a straight up rental and marchand is signing with boston at the end of the year when his contract runs up. we'll have to see how it goes. i couldn't see him playing for any other team so maybe he's got some kind of a backdoor deal going on with the bruins management and they're just loaning him out to try to better their team in the longrun?

this is one trade i didn't see coming.

Stars look pretty good tbh.

That said so do Oilers, Vegas, Jets and Avs.
Oilers-Vegas and Stars-Avalanche first round?
Oilers and Vegas will most likely be #1 and #2 in the Pacific so they won't match up first round. Stars are most likely locked at 2nd in the Central so they'll get Central #3 (right now its Wild but Avs on their heels). Whichever one of them ends up Central #4 will get the high Pacific which right now is Vegas

Didnt check rankings and things can still change, just want to see those match ups.

Stars were looking really good before getting Rantanen. Rather he stayed in the east, but at least they're not in the Pacific. Would be funny if the Stars played the Avs in the 1st round.

I hope the Oilers play the Kings again or a non-Colorado WC team and I think that's what will probably happen. Although with how they've been playing lately they could very well still lose.

Man, Ai is scary but this is pretty funny.

Plus other parts that haven't fully been revealed, but damn did Carolina fumble the ball for this year.

EDIT: 2 firsts and 2 thirds. Great for the future, still doesn't help them for this year.

Shot their shot and missed. Agreed, doesn't help the now but a chance in the future. Personally, I'd rather have players now than a lottery

Man, I’m shocked he agreed to this since he always said he wanted to be a Bruin forever. Maybe he will come back if he wins a cup

Allegedly getting Stamkos'ed by a GM will do that to a man. I wouldn't doubt he won't go back after said lowball. What on earth is Sweeney doing? He's killed the last of this run in about 6 months. First Swayman now this, starting to be very player unfriendly. I guess Bergeron is going to make a comeback soon... as the GM

Apparently the Oilers tried pretty hard to get Rantanen and he was interested, but they couldn't offer as much as Dallas in a trade. Too bad.

Not sure I’ve ever seen that before.
Rangers scored two shorties on the same penalty against Columbus.

How much space do they have? You'd imagine at the very least Kane has to be going the other way. Is there a market for a healthy Evander Kane, let alone a injured one?
