Lane Hutson is a pretty solid D-man for the Habs. I've heard of him. I saw him play against Detroit last year, and he put up a point.

I wasn't sure if was just a good shift or whatever.

I got to watch him at the Leafs game, he is quite the player. Subban like.

I also paid close attention to the Habs' first pick, Reinbacher. oohh man. He's not ready at all. Very disappointed by him.

Terrible injury on Laine. And then you see Arber go after the Leaf player. This is going to be quite a colorful season to put it lightly for these teams. Can't wait until Oct. 9.

was wondering why bertuzzi was trending tonight. and then i seen this.

god damn. this motherfucker just got bertuzzi'd

I'm assuming Cedric Pare was making up the numbers tonight considering how no one really helped him? "Wait a sec, he's on our team, should we do something??"

In the end, I always felt Bertuzzi got a bad rap for an unexpected outcome to a pretty common hockey retaliation when a chump on a call up targets a superstar player.

The dog pile of players that crushed on top of Bertuzzi to help, but crushed Moore under the pile certainly contributed

I thought he deserved a stiff punishment , but.....

People at the time legitimately wanted him to go to jail for attempted murder. In 2005 that was the Trump vs Biden of hockey forums. The vitriol of poster vs poster I remember to this day. I saw good friends turn to enemies over that lawsuit lol

"He should get everything Todd Bertuzzi owns. Bertuzzi should be broke"
"Uh, no, Moore was a cup of Coffee call up career AHL guy who was 26 years old and would never be more than a league minimum 4th line energy guy. If he gets $5 million in this suit that's probably more than he would make in his career"

And then it snowballed lol

Sucks for Laine but if you're going to make a move at the blue line then you have to actually make a move. You can't just skate straight into the defender and hope he moves out of the way lol. Pare lead a tiny bit with the knee but nowhere near enough to warrant anything major. Just an unfortunate situation.

Dach last year, and now Laine this year. Habs have such bad luck.

I didn't think it was that dividing.

I vaguely remember thought that as they fell, Bertuzzi's forearm was on the back of Moore's neck and Bertuzzi's like 260lbs?

Not that anyone deserves a broken (freakin?) neck, but some I knew was apparently in the Harvard system while Moore was there and he's apparently a ass.
