LOL, how do you go from leading 3-1 in the third to losing 6-3.

I picked the Oilers in 5 but I think that it will go the distance (7 games).

I think the Oilers have gotten more or equal penalties every game these playoffs except 1. So that's 11/12. And this is despite having an abysmal PK, which was even worse than normal today. I've said a handful of times in this thread already that the Oilers insist on taking dumb penalties even though they can't kill them.

Perry and Kane (and their PK unit) probably cost them the game because after that the game completely changed and they were deflated.

Great collapse by the Oilers. Should have taken a time out when the Stars went up 4-3. Take out all the stupid penalties and I think the Oilers win.

Can't even really blame this one on Skinner. Nearly every goal was through a wall of people.

I listened to the game on the radio. How awful were the back to back high sticking penalties? What the fuck were they doing taking stupid penalties when they were up 3-1?

Especially since they now have a 62.2% PK rate these playoffs. They could use Ceci and Desharnais and some of the other guys they lost since last year although I don't miss them. Hopefully Ekholm is back at close to 100% soon. Their PP is good, but not the nearly automatic goal it was at times before. Other teams studied them and figured them out and they haven't found something fundamentally new that's equally effective. They live and die by 5 on 5 now.
