Elections 2032 is going to be very bad for Dems

Where did I argue that?
In the post I replied to. You seem to think that giving the electoral college the power to overturn the results of the popular votes in their state, somehow equals a popular vote, and that them merely rubber stamping the popular vote in their states, is somehow antithetical to that.

Like I said, you're retarded. If you want to argue that you would prefer a Parliamentary system over your own, that's fine. It's not a "popular vote" though, and nobody but you defines it as such.

Have you finally accepted that the US is both a democracy and a republic? At least link what definition you're using, because those terms haven't been mutually exclusive in a couple hundred years.
wtf are you talking about. I literally have stated we are a democratic republic in my very first post. We are a constitutional republic. We leverage democratic elections to elect representatives for our republic. What are you even talking about?!

You seem to be missing a word here, you wanna try again?

State electors do not reflect the popular vote of their state. They return only 2 outcomes, 0% or 100%. Have you ever heard of a popular vote that produced 0% or 100% during an election?

Again, you seem unable to describe basics of Canadian government. How does someone become PM? Gimme the steps, you can count them on one hand.

The ignorance of people. America is not a democracy. We are a republic. The idea of a pure majority rule is appalling.

And yet one of your first posts was arguing America is not a democracy. You can't seem to keep your definitions straight at all.

Lulz. You may as well say that they reflect "winner" and "loser", because that's what they do.

You're embarrassing yourself.

I think there’s a few people sharing accounts. A few of the dumbest lefty accounts here have been using the term “politically literate” the past few days while they argue badly for absurd positions. He/she/it is one of them
I’ve never really interactive with him until recently. I’ve not seen this level of idiocy though.

Nah, they just get all their talking points from the same sources. The left in general appear to be bots with no original thought, because they behave like them. They actively create and live in a bubble. Even studies show that they are most likely to block people on social media for political reasons, as well as cutting off family and friends for the same reason. It just leads to group think, which they're obviously a product of.

Are you actually retarded?
You seem really dedicated to not wanting to acknowledge that that US is a democracy and it is also a republic.

So I guess we're clear on you can't describe how your own country picks a prime minister. Embarrassing.

That’s true. People I know IRL that are still democrats have blocked most of their social media contacts over the past 8 years that don’t think like them, and were shocked that Trump won again. All of them told me I was delusional and detached from reality when I told them Kamala was toast just after that fake Iowa poll was released.

We've been over this, retard. The only thing somebody(you) doesn't understand, is that the Parliamentary system is not a "popular vote". I think the only one who has learned anything new here, is you, who actually believed that Canada and "every other established democracy in the world" uses such a system. At least you wiki'd it and learned something new, despite your defiance of being wrong about your original take on the matter. Good on ya!

What is the point of the parliamentrary system? To appoint a parliament, which is the most powerful body in government.

How is that body chosen? Popular vote.

This is super straight forward.
At least you wiki'd it and learned something new, despite your defiance of being wrong about your original take on the matter.
It ain't wiki, you can just read Huntington or someone who actually has contributed to that field of study. Perhaps one day you'll actually read something scholarly or written by someone who's an expert in their field.
I think the only one who has learned anything new here, is you, who actually believed that Canada and "every other established democracy in the world" uses such a system.
And once again, my statement was that nearly every established democracy uses the popular vote to pick executives, party, or legislators. Some do just one of those, some do more.

And here you are arguing that Canada does not use the popular vote to pick MPs.
