2025 Motorsports Thread

Pesky Piastri.

It's annoying, for Lando fans for sure lol. Unfortunately Piastri seems to have his number.
Not Lando's year, as a McLarenite I'm happy but as a Brit I'd rather Lando.

No pressure on Lando's radio with Plan A and saying he needs to have a blinding race.

Another Canadian Grand Prix with no Mr Canada Deadpool who owns Alpine. Shame.

People having pace problems.
A really classic track.

Watched the first few hours and then forgot the rest!
Pissed.

I do like George so things could be much worse.

In fact I'm a Brit born in Germany and I like the cut of his jib so I SHOULD be chuffed.

I tell ya, this kid Kimi's got a blinding future ahead of him.

I'm getting so disappointed and upset with Yuki. I like the guy but come on man.

Great race by George. I used to really dislike him b/c he seems like a pretty boy AI robot or something sometimes - I mean he's no Lance Stroll who I'm 100% convinced is an emotionless robot. But George is growing on me and I like his snarky little comments.

I hope Yuki can at least start scoring some points for Red Bull at some point. Dumb move by Lando, but I guess he had to try. McLaren is winning constructors anyway so the teams point may not matter much.

Agreed about George. He's got that Edwardian statue face thing going on but he is fairly
human after all.
Yuki is finished or as they say in the Land of the Rising Sun:

Chisana shou. (tiny talent)

George is quite feisty and stubborn, but hides it behind his mannequin face. He doesn't give much away and I find it harder to like him.

Lando is far more accessible in that regard but maybe lacks that absolute maturity? I think following/supporting him might be a bumpy, frustrating ride - we'll see, but someone has to replace Hamilton who I've been following from his F1 debut. That MP4-23 overtaking Timo on the final corner at Interlagos forever etched into my memory along with the reaction from the Ferrari garage!

This season, has shown just how damn good Max really is. A generational talent. He's a level above.
