Ok, the poll has ended and our winner for The Bigwaverider Shooper of the Year 2025 is @Reach4theSky who takes first place by a single vote. Amazing job bud, you've worked hard all year shooping in every thread and working hard in the AV threads you also helped out with the contests behind the scenes. You're a top geezer too and this is thoroughly deserved

In second place and just missing out by a single vote we have @SenorFranko, brother you're one of the nicest people on Sherdog and a pleasure to know. If you had won, you would have thoroughly deserved it too, and I was hoping for a tie, and it was so close. You're definitely winning this award at some point. Thanks for all the work you do and the good vibes you spread.

In third place, we have @Myrddin Wild, whose work for the shoop scene over the years goes a bit under the radar and is underappreciated, but make no mistake about it, he deserves this podium place and is ever present in the contest scene and always a massive help in SOTY. Great job bruv and thanks for all the work you've put in over the years

Rounding out the top five in fourth place we have @Wreckless who came on leaps and bounds this year and made some amazing shoops, great job bud in fifth we have @Otto! whose contribution to the shoop scene goes unnoticed at times, but he's always there to help out behind the scenes and always up for shooping in the contests. Thanks, brother.

Great seeing @Wreckless getting so many votes. One of the best shoopers on the whole site. Always banging out well funny, top quality shoops. Im sure you are going to get shooper of the year one day, no doubt.

Thanks to everyone that voted. It means so much to me, I really appreciate the love so much. I will try and be a bit more active in the regular shoop threads next year, there were some mega funny ones in 2025.

We lost the greatest shooper of all time my fellow sherbro's. It's our duty and our honour to give him the greatest send-off we possibly can by honouring our fallen brother Michael @bigwaverider Simmons and shooping him.

Mike's family has gone above and beyond for us to make this happen and have given us permission to use Mike's image. They have spent days communicating with me and @Myrddin Wild and sending us images that we can use for this thread. So let's keep it classy his family will be watching this and the last thing I want to do is let them down in any way.
