MLB 2025/26 MLB off season thread: Son of a Bichette

Imai would rather beat the dodgers than join them <lol>

Lot of money for a guy that's had control issues most of his career. I guess these days if you even get a sub 4 era from a guy that's doesn't miss much time that's worth something.

First big splash goes to the Blue Jays. Dylan Cease to the Jays for 7 years at $210 million.

Now snowball...

Ain't no reason we can't spend like the Yanks and Dodgers. Scoop 'em up!

I can’t believe the dodgers continue to ruin baseball.

It's a big number but only averaging 30 million a year for what he could potentially be for them is a steal.

Dodgers support the economy by overpaying for shitty guys and keeping shitty guys on the roster so they can reach their pension key date... I think.

I'm sure many teams would rather have fat Blue Jay in clutch situation than muscled little prospect Rushing.

Here we are almost a Month Later never forget the Fattest Blue Jay Hit into the series ending double play.
Not before Yesavage, Hoffman, and Dominguez gave up solo homeruns, a ground ball to the only infielder that could make a play at home, and a miracle catch at the wall.

Dodgers had some voodoo going in that game. Ain't nobody to blame but the Baseball Gods.

But only the dodgers do deferrals. Lmao

THE FATTEST

On Apple News, I saw an article make it sound like oh shit Blue Jays signed some big time minor league power hitting SS, so Bo's fooked. I looked up the stats and he hit for ok AAA power once, but batting avg was really shit. They also cited him hitting a bunch of HR in winter ball... small sample size.

If the Tigers trade Skubal instead of paying him, it’ll be the Dodgers fault imo.

Dodgers have the number 1 minor league system and this is how they do it. But the dodgers are ruining baseball with deferred money and uncapped spending.

Between Skenes and Konnor Griffin the pirates have a dynasty brewing.
