Luckily, any rational human being can look at the stats from that series and conclude LeBron's 2nd best teammate played much more poorly than Howard, Lewis, Tukoglu and even Pietrus.

Big Z was out of the league after the next year and Varejao's average game score in that series was lower than Rafer Alston's and closer to Courtney Lee's. The Cavs main bench players were Boobie Gibson, Wally Sczcerbiak, Joe Smith, and a washed Ben Wallace.

I didn't even mention Jordan, but keep the LeBron hate blinders on.

  • Mo Williams- Went from 2nd option to 6th man the next year
  • Delonte West- Out of the league
  • Varejao- Same player, but injury prone
  • Ben Wallace- Out of the league
  • Wally- 2009 was his final year, out of the league
  • Pavlovic- 10th man after he left Cleveland
  • Boobie Gibson- Bench player
  • Joe Smith- Out of the league
  • Hickson- Became one of the worst players in the league before bouncing back this year
 
Criticizing LeJuices run with the heat is totally valid. But acting like his first run with the cavs was a disappointment is a worse take than Ficans English. Williams, west and ilgauskas all had career seasons with him. He leaves and they all turned back into cans/become drug addicts while the cavs went from a 1 seed to a lottery pick. Yeah LeBron didn’t “elevate his teammates”

I’m sure if you gave Jordan, Kobe, Kareem, Bird and Duncan those teammates instead of pippen, shaq, pau, magic etc they all win 10 rings easily.

I hate saying this because MJ is the GOAT and I don't like to compare anyone to him but I see some similar things in Luka that look Jordan'esque. One of those things is the ability to cook anyone in front of him, even whole teams, even if his team can't win.

Means nothing without including how efficient they were. Mo Williams was atrocious with an eFG% under 45% while Pietrus and Howard were over 60%. Dwight bodied Z the entire series.

Looking at that series and blaming LeBron for losing is irrational hatred of LeBron. His supporting cast from 04-09 was abysmal. That's an objective fact.

Posterity will be more rational and dispassionate than the asinine opinions you spew.

It sure does mean something but if you want to include eFG% then you might as well say LeCan got murdered as well. Turkoglu had a lower eFG% than everyone on the Cavs roster. At the end of the day, the help was comparable and LeCan and the Cavs lost.

It was a joke. Pavlovich started every game of the finals when the Spurs swept the Cavs in '07. He'd barely get bench minutes on a normal competitive team.

Hickson was playing in China a couple years after LeBron left for the Heat.

Carrying the "supporting" cast he had on the pre-Heat Cavs teams shouldn't diminish his legacy. It's literally the same thing as blaming Jordan for not being able to win against the Pistons while putting up insane numbers. It's the same ridiculous argument reversed. Lol you sound shook. I talk about actual basketball itt and things besides the lakers all the time. The majority of the posters itt also post in the nfl thread where everyone gets along, the discussion there goes beyond posting Jim Plunkett highlights and calling Mahomo a can all the time. Maybe that has something to do with the quality of it.
