Americans don't have good young players, so american media is trying to push that Anthony Edwards is the new face of the league (he might have potential) and people like Stephen A trying to make a case for Tatum as the MVP

The following players are not Americans and they're probably amongst the top 10 in the league:
Jokic (best)
Giannis (2nd best)
Luka (best offensive)
Embiid (amongst the best, his team fell to shit after he went down with injury)
Wembanyama (next best)
SGA (smooth as butter, pretty great all around)
Haliburton, Zion, Banchero, Ja, HolmGOAT, Cade Cunningham etc

plenty of great young NBA players

Hilarious putting Jokic and Embiitch in a discussion of good young players

30 and under

Halliburton is a great fantasy guy, remains to be seen if he can do something impactful such as winning, and winning in the playoffs

zion is fat, let's see him play a full season, this might be his first

Ja, again let's see him on the court, rather than flashing guns and getting injured

paolo is half american, half italian

chet, let's see what he can do

is cade even good, might just be putting up stats on a bad team, can he shoot?

Jokers defense is still mid

Giannis can't shoot

Embiid doesn't contribute to winning in the playoffs

Wemby doesn't contribute to winning

SGA hasn't won shit either

Only Luka has hard carried a team of everyone you mentioned

It's easy to try and poke holes at great players.

The fact is all of the players are great. The younger generation has plenty of American players who will impact the league for years. Banchero was born in America. These colors don't run.

I'll do the same shit for shits and giggles.

Embiid always hurt can't get out of second round
Giannis can't shoot and besides a shortened season can't do anything in the playoffs
Luka doesn't play defense and is great for fantasy. Can't get out of the first round without Brunson carrying him
Wemby hasn't done shit. Bol Bol clone
SGA tbd. about to finally make the playoffs.

Basketball is just going through what happened to hockey a couple decades earlier. The game got more international and the talent pool resembles that. It just so happens that the current elite tier is foreign born, as is the prospect touted to be the next huge thing. America still has a ton of depth of talent. It's similar to hockey, some fossils rejected the ideas of europeans being good hockey players, being too soft etc then the league had an influx of guys like Jagr, Sundin, Selanne etc. Canada still had the depth the field by far a better second and third team, but they weren't better at the very top level compared to rest of world. Nothing to be ashamed of, should really take joy that the sports popularity accelerated so much after the Dream Team times when teams from other nations were ridiculously bad.

It's always funny to see posters from shit tier countries like Wlu try to knock US born talent. He's been saying the same shit for years and the US continues to dominate the rest of the world when it counts.

Jokic - consensus best player, will be 2x mvp, won the chip
Giannis - won the chip, 2x mvp
Embiid - mvp, his team imploded when he went down
Wemby - open your eyes
SGA - don't be a hater

canada (with SGA leading) beat the US last summer

LeBron - Consensus GOAT, 4 time champ, 4 time MVP

Its easy to add in accomplishments when you have more than double the seasons of the guys you're comparing them to lol

Will be three time MVP actually, but who's counting.

why are you bringing lebron who is 38 years old into a conversation about nba players 30 and under?

Because he has double the seasons of the guys you mentioned, like Joker, Giannis, and Embiid have double the seasons of the young USA players

This isn't that hard

The entire point of the 25 and under gimmick is because most players wont see drastic improvements past 25. That's the beginning of their peak. Arbitrarily adding 5 years to "young" when thats well established to be in your prime, is silly to compare to guys finding their way into the league.

lebron isn't going to be around in 5 years, all the players i wrote are expected to be around and still at the top in 5 years (maybe except embiid since i will admit he has injury concerns)

Thats missing the point entirely
