I know people will scoff about "stat padding" but not sure how I feel if Kidd doesn't put Luka back in the game in the 4th and let him get 6 more points. This string of 30 point triple doubles is historic in nature and he should go for it.

Nah take him out when the game is out of reach to save him from injury, a tech, etc. if they become focused on stats instead of the bigger picture, it can have bad repercussions. It’s cool and all, but we all know how good he is, getting 30 instead of 27 points doesn’t mean shit in the end.

Yea, I'm conflicted about it, you are right on all counts, but FUCK man, he only needed 3 points to extend the streak to 7 and Kidd took him out with like 5 minutes to go.

On the flip side, you will be cussing out Kidd if Luka got hurt in those 5 minutes. Risk heavily outweighs the reward, I’ve seen too much shit in the NBA and NFL that could have been avoided that ended bad in some way.

Yep, I know, plus it happened the year they went to the WCF in the last game of the regular season Luka got hurt playing minutes he shouldn't have been. Luckily Brunson stepped up in round 1.

Exactly. We already know Luka is one of the best right now. A 30 point triple double streak vs. a regular triple double means nothing to me lol

Its pretty impressive man. 6 consecutive 30 point triple doubles, never been done before, could have easily been 7 tonight. But yea, in the scheme of things team wins matter more right now.

Get to the weight room bro

Kid's getting bullied a bit but he's still doing reasonably well. Definitely benefitting from this era though. He'd be mashed potatoes if he played in a tougher league.

Hope he gets stronger and has a better team around him soon.

Yeah he’s been good no doubt. He’ll inevitably get stronger so I’m not worried at all about his progress.

If the Mavs could get that kind of production every night they would be a problem.

Couple of good 10 o'clock games tonight. Not sure which to watch. When in doubt, I guess it's best to try to do both lol.

Thought my Nuggies were gonna steamroll Toronto last night, Toronto had injuries and were on the road, and Denver started the game with 90+ percent win probability, but Toronto got a big lead and as high as a 94% win chance before wilting.

Cookie Monster line was:
35 points
17 boards
12 assists
6 steals!!!
2 blocks
only 2 turnovers.

At half time I was like he's having an embarrassing off game, and before it ends it's a stat line that nobody else has put up in history. Keeps on moving up the MVP probabilities. Interesting stat, he has the 27th highest career VORP in NBA history, everyone ahead of him seems to have huge games played advantage. Can probably easily get into top 10 all time if he plays just three more seasons.
