NBA picks are generally worth as much as toilet paper. Look at the current Rockets. Two great picks, refuse to develop their players and ruin their confidence by giving them minimal rotation minutes. NBA is almost as bad as the NFL when it comes to developing talent. Some guys are just gonna bust. Its another thing when you actively ruin any chance of them developing and giving them confidence despite having 2 top 5 talents from the last draft lol

Then you got a guy like Spo, who's taking a good bball IQ guy, and turning him into a winning basketball player from the get. So fucking stupid other coaches are incapable of learning from him.

I agree which is why I'm glad the Mavs had enough sense to throw DLive straight into the starting 5 out of the gate. Too many times we see both NBA and NFL teams draft guys they have high hopes for only to sit them on the bench.

Here's my obligatory mavs post no one cares about, but.

Biggest Luka fan out there, but I'll have to agree with the critics that he needs to reassess how he's playing with the team.

Mavs offense is stagnant as all hell. Luka needs to stop ball-hogging, yes he assists, and while they're amazing a lot of them are rushed, cross court passes, which are hard to catch and shoot.. no smooth rythum with how the balls moving, mavs aren't making the extra pass, like ever.

It's not the best roster out there, but there are guys who are capable of getting buckets, they need to change the offense to get these guys more involved and in rythum.

Defense is straight trash, I'm not familiar with Kidd's coaching past, has he ever been considered a decent defensive coach? It's not even about the athleticism, they are completely out of sync with eachother on the switches, they can't play as a unit.
