So apparently that casino family that bought majority stake in the Mavericks from Mark Cuban bought a large piece of land in Irving which is a suburb of Dallas about 20 minutes from where the current arena stands. Gambling is still illegal in Texas but maybe they know something not public knowledge. They are planning to build a new large scale Mavericks facility, and possibly a future casino there.

I'm ready for OKC to move on from Giddey. He is in his 3rd year and his numbers have regressed worse than his first year. 41/30/77 for a combined 47% TS is garbage tier and he's taking 12 FGA.

Bench him and let him be a poor man's Draymond off the bench and start Cason Wallace who is looking like a high end 3 and D. Need better shooting, D or rebounding out of his roster spot. OKC is god awful on the boards.
