And a chance at the play in tournament ?!? Lmao
Fakers are going nowhere until Leroid is gone or new ownership

This must be under the assumption that Davis will basically be plagued with injuries the rest of his contract. I would think if LeBron signs the extension just have him stay and end his career in LA. Dumping everything now really gives you nothing since they don't really have any draft capital. Have LeBron and Davis just play every year making the playoffs or play-in and nothing more until their contracts are up and then you rebuild.

It's not like LA is going to get close to a championship anyway with much better teams out there. This is why I don't have a big issue if they hire Redick as the coach. Regardless of the coach I still think they are going to be a bottom tier western conference team for the foreseeable future.

Great pickup by fakes. Low risk, low pay. Lebron will get allot of credit for Reddicks coaching start..

Let’s JJ some experienced assistants and let him do his thing relating to the players and watch him blossom

None of the blame if it doesn't, just like when his teams lose. Wash, rinse, repeat. All jokes aside, I like JJ. This is either going to go great or it'll be a disaster.

Will it be a disaster? The hire actually makes sense from a certain standpoint. Off hand with no analysis there is very little downside. Assuming LeBron signs the extension the Lakers get LeBron and Davis for at least 3 of the 4 years of Redick's contract. Then by the end of Redick's contract (assuming he doesn't get fired before then) you fall right into rebuilding mode. By then Davis and LeBron will be surely washed and it will be time with hopefully some better draft capital.

My biggest concern is since LeBron and Davis are going to have to bail Redick out of hard spots they will be asking a 40 year old man and a guy with a bad injury history to carry a lot of minutes.

Why in the name of baby Jesus would the Bulls give up Caruso for Giddy? How does that even remotely sound like a good deal?
