I don't think anyone expected Dallas to go to the Finals this year. Luka has been to two WCF's and a Finals by age 25, yea, losing sucks, but if anything he looks to be right on schedule and the team gets better every year since they hired Nico Harrison. I would expect this Dallas squad to be better next year than they are now with their young players being a year older and Nico possibly making more moves.

his cowboys went out in the playoffs. the stars made it to the conference finals, and now the mavs lost in the finals. it's a kick in the dick this year to be a dallas fan.

at least he's got the texas rangers to fall back on, but after winning last years world series the odds of them repeating again this year are probably slim pickings.

Boston is a team of Swiss army knives, lots of guys who can do it all.. where as Mavs have players with more specific roles.. be interesting to see what Niko does next.. does this team have a chip in them? Or was this just a lucky coming together situation that will flame out into the future?

I think DLive will be better each year for a few seasons, he's only 20 and already has Finals experience. Hardy and Green are still very young and should improve as well. I would expect the team to get better than they are now, and not at some undetermined point in the future, starting next season.

Yeah for sure, the whole team is young pretty much, except for Kyrie. It'll be interesting to see who they keep, and who they discard because each new player has been useful in their own way..

Yeah for sure, the whole team is young pretty much, except for Kyrie. It'll be interesting to see who they keep, and who they discard because each new player has been useful in their own way..

I would suspect;

Safe: Luka, Kyrie, DJJ, Gaff, DLive, PJ, Green, Hardy, OMAX

Gray Zone: Exum and Kleber

Trades: Morris, A.J. Lawson, Dwight Powell, and possibly THJ. I don't think they will let go of anyone else unless a special deal comes along.
