That last minute Luka 3 pointer and getting fouled was insane. This series probably ending next game.

Mavs will probably re-tool and get better next year, but their inexperience in big games is showing. Every game was close, but they still went down 3-0. Next year is their emergence as a Western powerhouse team IMO.

Golbert is still young at 31, KAT is only 28 and ANT will only get better. I think a good addition they could do with the mid level exception is sign Demar Derozan - proven scoring threat and veteran that can take them over the top. Add some scoring when KAT is not playing well.

Gafford did well but this game really showed the importance of Lively. Having to play Kleber for 15 minutes or so is not a good thing. Series is far from over and the mavs needed to close them out here so I see them losing the next one too, making game 6 the real game 7 of the series. I think my original prediction of 4-2 will be right in the end.

Why TNT gave a job to a douche who built his reputation in the NBA with dirty plays and by kicking players in the groin will be one of NBA biggest mysteries for me. Also, Chuck, EJ, and Kenny have always been the centerpiece of the show. I never liked Shaq - he's an insufferable and insecure bully who always brings up his rings whenever he's losing an argument with Chuck. Plus, him telling Jokic right in his face that Shai deserved to be the MVP this year really sealed the deal for me.
