Mavs were competitive after that nuclear start by the Nuggets. In the first Qtr. the Nuggets shot 76/87/100....yes you are reading that correctly. The officiating was complete ass. Even look at Jockitch and its a foul, meanwhile Luka was getting molested all night with no call.

Oh no don’t do the excuse game lol. Want to know why they shot so well? It’s because the Mav’s defense stank like it has the past 3 seasons. And the officiating wasn’t horrible. Fact is, they finally played a good team and were dominated. I tried telling you about overreacting and managing expectations so early lol. Oh well, live and learn.
 
Luka deserves more calls but he also needs to stop staring at the refs and complaining every play. That's not going to help, unless you're LeCan where the refs will do everything they can to win you the game.

Mavs are a 4-1 team, just make sure you don't come bandwagoning later on ok.

I'm going to explain this to you one time then let you have the last word because I know you can't exist if you don't have the last word. The Nuggets shot lights out in the 1st Qtr. They were shooting at a rate that if you took the Mavs completely off the floor they probably couldn't duplicate it. With 2 minutes left in the Qtr. they were shooting 76/87/100 splits. After that the Mavs proceeded to equal or outscore the Nuggets in the remaining 3 Qtr's, 31/30, 32/32, and 27/23. I've already seen enough to know the Mavericks are not only improved offensively, they are also improved defensively.

This is a better team than the last couple years. Good enough to win it all? Probably not but they are much improved with this roster and they play faster.

No matter what excuses you make or how you spin it, still got blown out and only kept it close when Jokic went to the bench multiple times in the second half. Even then, they never got past 8 or so, so the score isn’t even indicative of how they lost.

And I will explain to you again, all you are doing is making premature judgments. I literally said to at least wait until they played a good team to form any sort of opinion and even that is premature. You saying this is a better team is tbd. And they have not looked better defensively. They still give up a lot even to the mediocre/bad teams they’ve faced.

They very well could be a great team or could not since their strength of schedule has been easy so far. What’s so wrong saying that it’s way too early? That take is much more realistic than yours right now lol


If they go on to a great record and beating great teams consistently then that’s awesome and I’ll declare them much improved. Not a hard concept to understand.

Suns about to be in a death roll if they don't get going. 2-4 start, wow. That has to be the most shocking start to this season, the Suns going 2-4 and the Jizzlies starting 0-6.
