To be honest, they only got their 2 wins from the lowly Suns. LOL at Durcant.

He's a 7 footer thats 35, post Achilles and he's putting up 27/7/4 on 54/37/74 while missing 82m worth of players from the starting line up.

Booker is good but their roster is trash and Beal is massively overrated. No depth.

Lol . This fucking in season tourney

I think I'm in the minority in that I'm looking forward to this. I do think the regular season is too long at 82 games. I think sports leagues need to look at themselves if their athletes find load management more important than end of season playoff seeding. Why I always have a special place in my heart for NFL football, because every week matters pretty much and the best players if healthy are almost always out there.

Anyhow, at least this tourney gives a little more ooomph to some of the regular season games, and more importantly, should be real basketball as opposed to that abortion known as the NBA all-star game.

Yeah Durcant can ball. But he just doesn’t have the mental toughness to close when he’s the 1st option.

I was a skeptic as soon as I heard about it but I’ve also come around to it. Add in the financial incentive and it still affecting a team’s record, the games will still be taken seriously. Probably more than your random average afternoon game that no one usually cares about.

The "effort" factor is difficult to measure. It seems like some teams kind of coast through the regular season but that isn't the case always. The Mavericks look like they are having to go 100% at all times to win these clutch games. I can't imagine they could actually go harder because its the in-season tourney. It gets even harder to measure effort level on an individual basis. I feel like this is mostly a nod to fans who might get excited.

The financial incentive could be important to them. I’d lean towards more effort and less players resting than a normal game, if they have the opportunity to get incentives. If there were no incentives and just a small trophy/bragging rights, then I would agree with you fully.

I'm pretty sure Stephen Gay also said he wasn't "interested in this Euro kid" when talking about Luka before he was drafted.

He also said the Suns must draft Deandre Ayton #1 because he's from Arizona and would be a box office attraction <45>
SAS is a massive Luka hater. He said the Suns would blow them out in game 7 the other year when Dallas went on to win by 30+

Tbf I think Will Cain was the only analyst I saw that was spot on about Luka.
