They have too many weapons man. They look like they could play half-ass and beat most teams in a 7 game series. Their point differential is also worrying because past teams with their point differential have a high probability of winning the Championship. I'm beginning to think only a healthy Nuggets might stop them. But yea, I would love to see them do some wild shit like not even get out of the East.

The point differential is interesting, I personally firmly feel you plant Boston in the Western conference and that difference goes down considerably. There are more teams to can-crush in the east in the unbalanced schedule, and the mid-tier teams in the East are way worse. Bloody Orlando is number 4 in the East right now! I think Orlando is comparable to like the number 9/10 teams in the West.

I think the top three in the East (Bucks, Celts, Cavs) play more streaky, like the have more volatility to their scoring. I view Phoenix in the West being like that. Those teams can really crumble when adversity hits. But Minnesota, Denver, OKC, Clippers (even with playoff Harden), all have less volatility in their offense which bodes well in 7 game series.

What I would personally love to see would be 76ers get a "healthy" Embiid back late in the regular season and wind up in the 8 spot and play Boston in the first series. Oooh la la wouldn't that be fun!

This 10pm est start time is bullshit. Gonna have to dodge spoilers until i can actually watch it tomorrow afternoon
