James still a handful when attacking the basket. What a star.

That said, if Booker was playing this game would have been out of hand a while ago.

Dallas will be a fringe playoff team. Maybe an 8 seed. Don’t think they are deep enough or good enough defensively to beat the top teams in a playoff series.

He got fouls early and that prevented him from being physical. That can't be overstated. The same shit would happen to KG or Tim Duncan and you'd see their aggression plummet for the rest of the game until crunch time.

I think he showed a shitload of promise and the negatives aren't really there yet. Gonna need more film.

Yea fair he will be fun to watch, I'm just hoping he stays fit as I feel like number one picks over the past few years have had shit first years due to injuries.

Edit: o damn chet was 2nd last year! I need to pay attention to draft night more lmao.

Their first real game in 5 years and it was a classic. KD going ham and going up in the all time points list tonight while lebron clutching out a win......

I hope we don't have to wait another 5 years.

I think you are completely wrong on this take, Mavs will be Top 4 in the West this year with Luka possibly winning his first MVP. This last off-season was probably the best off-season for the Mavs over the last decade. Lively's presence in the paint at 7'1" is going to matter in a big way plus the addition of Grant Williams to help shore up defense. If you are interested I think this is a good video explaining why this season could be different for the Mavs.

 
It is too early to determine who's gonna be where in the standings at the end of the year.

The one thing is true, if the games stay close Kyrie and Luka are too good to lose out most games. So close games they should be a huge positive in the W column

And I think you are wrong too. I correctly predicted how they would finish once they got Kyrie last season too based on the roster. Technically my prediction this season is an improvement since they didn’t make the playoffs and ended 11th or whatever lol. And Actually re-looking at the standings, I think they can be a 6 or 7 seed but still a fringe team possibly in the play-in.

We’ll see what happens
