Do you realize you always have an excuse whenever they lose? Read what I said again. IF they kept up the defensive effort they could have won, but it didn’t happen for the millionth time with or without Lively in there. I see no lies with what I said

The former played like the smallest guy on the court at all times. The latter plays like he's got the biggest dick in the arena

You expect unrealistic shit man, you ALWAYS do. The Mavs are playing a team with 4 or 5 future hall of famers that are on an 8 game win streak and they go up by 22. By the 4th qtr. when the Mavs took a 1 point lead with 5 minutes left in the game they were exhausted and undermanned. The entire way they overcame the 22 point deficit was defensive stops until the final 5 minutes of the game when they ran out of gas but you do you man, keep rockin that Mavs AV.
 
Westbrick isnt what he was. That's not fair to just lump him as future HOF because he's a vet min role player these days.

With that said, its also impossible to defend the clippers.

I’m the unrealistic one? Lmao. I expect them to beat the shitty or average teams and lose to the top teams which they have done the entire season. How the hell are my expectations wrong?

Everything I have said since the preseason continues to be proven true, while you continously make excuses for them after every single loss. It’s funny I am the one who brought up injuries possibly occurring and hurting their record and now you are using it as an excuse every game they lose lmao.

Keep telling us how good this roster is when they can’t beat a top team (still haven’t btw and we are nearing the halfway point of the season), guys you said would be great like OMax and Holmes were either sent down to the G-League or can’t even sniff playing time even with the injuries of others, etc.

I also EXPECTED them to end up at the 5-8 seed and was laughed at (it’s just an opinion too lol). Would you like to tell me where they are at the moment? Yeah thought so. So again, what have I said that is unrealistic? Seems like I’m the only fan in here that actually knows about this team and not overrating them.

You are wrong because the Flerps are a loaded team that have now won 9 consecutive games. The Mavericks are playing without their Center as well as second best player in Kyrie Irving as well as rotational players like Green and Kleber. Its a depleted roster. The fact they even overcame a 22 point deficit was a miracle. You FAIL to understand that the reason they lost last night was they ran out of gas after going down 22 in the first half, by the time they took the lead in the 4th with 5 minutes to go they were GASSED and playing without the best 4th Qtr. scorer in the league. Like I said, you do you though. You always do.

They started 5-3 in their first 8 games last season and won only 38 games. So saying they will easily surpass that number is not guaranteed.

They aren't out on the table. I tried to point out the reality of that game which you still refuse to accept. The Mavs are playing with a crippled team, against the hottest team in the NBA and ran out of gas down the stretch and you had to derp in again with your dumbass arguments about getting stops in the 4th. The Mavs got plenty of stops until the final 5 minutes when they were obviously exhausted.

I had hoped that they might have won after getting so many stops but they were a revolving door on defense like in so many clutch stretches already this season which led to my correct observation.

You are trying to argue about nothing in particular really. Sue me for having hope that they could continue to play decent in the last 5 minutes. But in the end, hope and expectations are different things. I still didn’t have a lot of faith they could close it out. /your argument
