One of my homies is driving from Houston to SoCal for military training and he stopped at roughly 750 miles and is STILL in Texas.

Canadians love it when people talk about long drives through Texas. The drive from Toronto to Lake of the woods is in Ontario, and only in the lower half of the province, and it's 1200miles.

My buddy helped his brother move to Alaska from Coronado. They were a bit surprised at how big Canada was because it took them 24hrs of driving to cross just British Columbia.

We're thinking of moving to Calgary (aka Canada's Texas) to be closer to the kids. Calgary is close to the border with British Columbia. Still a 760mile drive to Vancouver
