But more to the point he has access to a ton of moderate and centrist independents that are fans of his and he tweets if I was an independent I would vote Republican that even got Jack Dorsey to question Elon management of Twitter.

What’s your point here? Elon has a single vote like the rest of us. If you are talking about him advocating for a specific party, that is something Americans do with their speech. There are many powerful and/or famous people who do this and we don’t have some sort of regulating of their speech to do so. Using the word interference doesn’t suddenly make it wrong and is just trying to pervert a basic right.

But that’s where you are wrong. He is a one vote guy. The following he has have their own vote and decide accordingly how to use it. Some might weight Elons opinion heavily and others might not at all. Some might follow zero news coverage and vote straight party ticket. Some are political junkies/ advocates for their candidate and will vote with conviction for them. It’s all weighed the same. One person gets one vote. None of this undue influence gets brought up any other time a public figure advocates for a party. Is it wrong Obama is stumping for some senate candidates right now? Is it wrong Hollywood actors primarily support the democrat party and candidates? Should Oprah not have endorsed Oz’s opponent in the PA race? All of these are acceptable things in a democracy that upholds free speech. In no reality, was there ever some pretense that every citizen would have the same range in getting their opinion out over others in the private sphere. Hell, I actually think being in an age of social media is what skewed you to this type of thinking because of how vastly available it is for us to go online and post our opinions on various sites and apps. Elon is allowed to have an opinion just like you and myself. Elon has a vote like you and myself (assuming you are a US citizen).

People are losing their minds over this whole Twitter thing. A social media company doesn’t force you to vote a certain way. We all have the damn freedom to control what we use, consume, do in society and to baby the masses to a narrative that we have to protect people from the wrong ideas or opinions goes down a road of suppressing those very freedoms.
