2020 Motorsports thread.

This is the first season where I’ve really watched. I don’t really have a favorite but I definitely like McLaren drivers, George Russell, and kind of like Renault/Red Bull. The docuseries on Netflix got me into it.

is it always the midfield the most exciting part of a race/season? Very clear MB are best team with the best car

Also find it surprising that Haas still have the drivers that they have. Feel like they could at least get some better prospects or at least someone who would give them some fans.

battle between 3rd and 7th looking good...
also wtf is happening to Ferrari ?!

Makes me said that Sainz is going to a worse team but I understand why he would make the move for his career

How bad was Ferrari cheating last year to go from winning this race to being 14th this year?!

There used to be three teams with 6 cars running for the win in Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull. Ferrari were accused of cheating last season and after they were investigated, their cars got very slow.

This race is strange because there aren't big gaps down through the field. It seems like the inability to change engine modes is making the midfield stay closer together. Hamilton seems to be the only car that has been able to get much of a gap.

Hamilton getting a penalty would actually make this race interesting

Has anyone here been to a F1 race? I might be able to go to a race in March if my friends wedding in Italy actually happens

lets see if Hamilton gets the exact same penalty as Giovinazzi, which has to happen...

Does this mean someone actually has a chance to win this race besides Lewis?
