Don't know where that is. Lived in Manayunk for a bit and then Lansdowne. So West Philly was more my stomping grounds. And of course venues like The Troc, First Unitarian, and Khyber Pass. Live music was my social life.

Roxborough is right next to Manayunk.

Manayunk is at the bottom of the hill and Roxborough is at the top of the hill. It takes me 10-15 minutes to walk to Main Street .

Khyber Pass is still around but it changed from a music venue to a craft beer and southern food restaurant (strange rebranding imo).

The new big music venue is The Fillmore which is pretty cool

Ahhhh. That's nice area then.

Beer and Southern food sounds good, although it's a shame because that was a cool place to see gigs. Like the Balcony Bar above the Troc. Nice and intimate.

Sounds they stuck their finger in the wind and said, hey this craft beer thing might work. It’s amazing, everytime I think the market MUST finally be saturated, another two breweries pop up. Not complaining in the least.

I used to drive by that place when I go and see my folks but I've never stopped in. I'll have to check it out.

In September I got married and we moved to a different neighborhood in Philly

I'm also at the tail end of our fiscal year end filing requirements (I'm a tax accountant). My boss retired right before that, I got promoted and shit was crazy taking over some of her responsibilities and Tax Reform just made everything more complicated.

Been working 80+ hour weeks all through October up until this week when things finally settled down.
