I love GSP but this was not the fight to make......too many contenders at MW......Jacare should have the title shot. Romero is also deserving before GSP.....and if Moose gets a win against Wiedman you could argue he is close to a shot as well. I would have made Rockhold vs GSP prior to the title fight. IMO 185 for GSP is a bad move.....go back to WW and dominate again. (Not that he can't be champ at 185)

I absolutley can admit that,but i am also honest that i dont feel i need to boycott the card nor do i look down on either of these gentleman for taking the obviously mutually beneficial fight. People have gotten so mad they dont know who to blame. They claim bisping and GSP are both taking the easy fight at the same time. How is that possible? I bet these same people were saying Khabib was ducking Aldo who never had any fights at 155.

I'm not blaming either guy. It's a big opportunity for both of them, particularly Bisping who can't have too much time left with all the damage he's taken. Nonetheless, it makes no sense rankings wise and it's not even the biggest money fight that they could have made. McGregor GSP would be stratospheric. Relative to that fight, Bisping GSP is a small cash infusion.

Pure carny fuckery at its finest. At least McGregor was active during his jump up to fight Dos Anjos/Alvarez. GSP hasn't fought in such a long ass time. Bisping doesn't want any part of Romero and you know GSP doesn't want that either.

I can't think of a worse matchup for GSP than Romero.

GSP is only fighting Bisping because he think he has got better winning chance against him rather than Woodley or Wonderboy.

If GSP wins then I think he will ask for Johny Hendricks rather than Yoel because Yoel will way bigger than GSP.

I think if GSP wins, he doesn't give a shit anymore - he is more or less holding two belts at the same time, but in contrast to Conor, he actually defended his multiple times.

Yea, but Khabib and Tony are already fighting this weekend and the winner will likely need some time before they fight for the unified title and Conor is available. Meanwhile, Yoel has just been chilling under the presumption that he'd be fighting Bisping for the title.

I am a fan of GSP- but he refused to fight Anderson for years. Now after a 3.5 year layoff he goes up to fight Bisping, and screwing Romero/Jacare in the process. So short-sighted by the UFC. A joke. Bisping beats him and then retires.

There would be no need for GSP to retire. conor showed that fans still pay to see top drawing fighters even after they get their ass kicked. GSP losing at 185 isn't really a huge deal after 3 years away.

Bisping is doing it for the money, you dodos. It's easy to judge others when it's not your career or life in the line. He knows his age and that he won't be around forever at the top. He can get this kind of fight now and make millions. That option won't be around for very long.

The guy has been around for ages, gotten the pulp beaten out of him, and he's the champion now with his stock at an all time high. This won't last, and he knows it. He's old and the division he fights in is stacked with monsters.

Why on the fucking face of the planet wouldn't take one of the biggest fights a fighter can get, with only some years left in his career? Why wouldn't he make millions more, fighting GSP, the biggest fight available to him, now that he can? Because of Romero?
