Spider-Man 2 doesn't even count. When people say MCU(Marvel Cinematic Universe) they mean specifically the Marvel films within the shared cinematic universe centered around The Avengers. And yes, Spider-man 2 is basically better than all of them

Captain America : The Winter Soldier is a good standalone action flick even if you're not into the superhero genre. Less fantastical and more sci-fi than the rest with a good plot.

That's about as good as they get except after the 8th time of seeing the same decent but not great formula it wears on you. You didn't even see the worst of it, later in the franchise the films basically exist to set up other films and feel increasingly meaningless.

I think I nutted in the theater the first time I saw it, but the whole experience is a blur.

I saw it in shitty 3D and I got there late because one of my friends screwed up the directions. It was still awesome.
