This should be both of your AV's for the rest of the election:

It's a 1 week AV bet effective Friday after this round of the election and @Limbo Pete gets to pick the avatar.

People argue about things, ideally, not for the sake of argument, but because they feel that some things are worth arguing about.
  • When we have a POTUS who lies about basic things like, you know, having a healthcare plan...
  • When we have a Congress who lies to the middle class by telling them tax cuts for billionaires are actually tax cuts for the middle class (even though every objective observer has disputed this, and have projected said tax cuts to add 1.5 trillion to the defecit)...
  • When environmental protections and workers' rights are being constantly and shamelessly strip-mined in the name of Wall Street profits...
When this is the basic national situation, I'm sorry, but you don't get to just drop a genteel curtsy and declare yourself "above partisanship."

Not if you have honest and heartfelt beliefs, you don't. You've got to call these things out in plain language.

None of this is relevant for the POTWR election.

Those are weasel words, everyone with a brain knew the bet was voted based. Limbo Feet tricked us both, and now you're afraid of going down in flames all by your lonesome

Seems like you're the only one who got tricked here.

"A bet is a bet, Bob. I once lost $30,000 on a horse. She just... ran off with it."

Because RIPWarrior said the magic word "progressive."

That's the new slur used to paint anyone who believes in, oh, I don't know, climate change or basic human rights, as an ANTIFA nutjob who has five genders.

That's what we are dealing with here @JDragon and @Kafir-kun. These are the guys who are lining up to "vote irish."

Are you serious ?

You think Irish is far-right or something like that ?
