If I were to have a gripe with Sherdog it would be people who shit on content providers.

I'm not saying I'm some shining example of a good poster, but people constantly shit on my threads while making none of their own, or even get half the traffic I bring to some.

Some people need to chill imo.

For sure.

However, I said that this format was flawed and hugely skewed in favor of ideological outliers from the rip. I’ve been beating this drum ever since the format for these elections was announced.

And while @Lead has said he is open to suggestions, (they are too late for this year).

The bottom line is that a format like this, where you have a ton of candidates and one round of voting to get the top two is absolutely slanted towards whichever candidates are most dissimilar from the pack.

I respect your suggestions and do note them. Furthermore, you actually do something on your part to work around them (step down and endorse a candidate positioned close-by yourself). One thing that might be missing here is once Round 1 starts, I pretty much have the rules/criteria laid out at that point so when we move forward, its easier to regulate and not cause scandal in what calls are made. Suggestions are noted for next year when another Round 1 would begin. I think there were a lot of improvements from last year in controlling the registration, etc but I do notice there is more critiques about the election rounds, especially having a possibly middle round (which is being seriously considered). I just want you to know I never was going to change the rules of the current election in progress but I am definitely going to take what went right/wrong this year and adjust accordingly for 2018 if we have one just like I did from 2016 to 2017.

This is a common problem with a multi-candidate election in general. Two similar positioned candidates can eat at each others votes. Previously, I think you were mentioning ideological extremes benefiting from this but I agree with the comment above far more. A candidate that is distanced far enough from each group has a good chance at winning. Palis found success in 2016 doing so and irish is doing a similar thing this year.

And this is why within my first 90 days in office I will from a special committee to look into election reform so that we can have fair and balanced elections in the future.

To put more perspective on how early this race is, the current front runner has 15 votes. I just found there are 37 voters from last year who have no voted yet and voted for left leaning candidates last year. Consider that previous year voters are less than half the voting base and you can see here this primary is still very early to make any calls.
