I disagree with your characterization of @Jack V Savage (white knight mode engaged),...

...but I laughed hard at this post. Well played.

What? That he regularly accuses people of dishonesty?

Would it be off the mark to say that if the party goes further left, then eventually the SJW wing will have much more sway within the party? Some people view the trend as natural, so it wouldn't surprise me to see more jump on board.

You arent wrong but jack isnt going to tell you so

Please explain when the party went left. It is currently to the right of FDR. Please advise. Thanks.
The country as whole has gone further left as time passed, both sides. Obama being president would have shocked FDR.

I agree right wing economics isnt popular yet the republicans continue to win.

Right. So who wants to emphasize economics and who wants to emphasize culture issues?

And since you wanted to go there the one who is being dishonest because you are a tribal democrat and seem to be blind to these issues . You know the issues that put trump in the whitehouse

Oh, that's silly. You're just saying that you're rubber and I'm glue because I called you out on misrepresenting the gender discussion. I'm obviously not a tribal Democrat (??) and haven't been dishonest on anything.

That's one of the few times Jack didn't call me dishonest. When I told him I sensed anti-white male sentiment coming from the left. In that case he said I was simply deluded.

Right. So who wants to emphasize economics and who wants to emphasize culture issues?

To be fair, a lot of Hillary's campaign was based on her breaking the glass ceiling. It wasn't *only* coming from the right.

Right and who is in power in every branch of government and how do they keep winning. You have to win the culture war too and the democrats arent doing that because they have gone to far to the left

Game set and match bucko

Right whos being dishonest again ?

Your definition of left and right appear to be so effectively narrow, as to render them meaningless as descriptors.

They're actually very general, and wide. Are you going to tell me that every policy of the modern (D) side is further to the right of a 1930s Democrat? I get that the New Deal was a reaction to the Great Depression, and FDR was basically a commie - we've essentially been running on a socio-capitalist system - but those standards he set have remained the same, nobody is going against that. The ACA, basically forcing a fine on those who don't get health insurance to pay for those who aren't paying for it anyways, isn't going further left? The welfare and immigration debates, gun control, etc

Do you honestly think FDR would have been a pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage (hell, pro-transgender/LGBTQ++123f) , pro-immigration, anti-gun Democrat?

That's all identity politics that you listed in the last sentence. You have, expertly, proven my point for me. Thanks.
