We are back with part 2 of the GNN POTWR 2017 in depth analysis.
In the last part of the series we discussed the voting segments we intend to cram everyone into whether they like or not. Now let’s talk a detailed look at the political cages we have set up and who belongs in which box.
The old School
Voters that participated in the 2016 election may give us the best insight into the outcome of the 2017 election. Their behavior should give some indication on how things might breakdown in 2017.
There were 149 votes cast in the 2016 POTWR election. Of that number, only 73% of 109 voters will be active in the 2017 election. What happened to the 40 voters that have been removed from the electoral voting rolls?
GNN in depth research has revealed that 9 decided to stay home of their own volition
and a staggering 31 (21%) of the 2016 voters were deported from Sherdog (victims of teh BAN HAMMER!!!!). Of those banned approximately 2/3’s were Deplorabots while only 1/3 were non Deplorabots.
This will undoubtedly lead to calls of unfair play, especially is a Deplorabot candidate loses to a Sane one with less than 10 votes. We would remind the Deplorabots that no one is above the law, and also that they have had a strong preference for deporting those that do not share the nation’s values as well as stripping felons of voting rights. It seems like justice served to GNN
Dead heat
When we look at the 109 voters that voted in 2016 and are still in the game for the 2017 elections, we see a dead heat between Deplorabots and Sanity with 45% of the vote each.
WTFs and Berniebrobots could easily shift camps between the front runners, depending on what kind of candidates emerge. The Unreliables are hard to pin down, other than they will probably exacerbate “the MO” any one candidate has going into the 2cd round.
There Goes the Neighborhood
Now that GNN has analyzed the 2016 voters, lets wrap up by quickly turning to a preview of the new breed of voters in 2017.

Shockingly, 64% of voters registered for 2017 did not vote in 2016. This means that our previous paralysis by analysis is about as relevant as Hilary Clinton in 2018. Well, we had to talk about something. And in the name of talking about something, lets, in GNN fashion, ask a lot of questions we don’t have the answers to.
How will these people vote? Well we don’t know, we do know they may vote for a Palis type candidate or they may not. They may find that since, likeTrump, Palis has done absolutely fuck all with his time as POTWR, that they want real change. They may be driven by an innate rebelliousness to swell the ranks of the Berniebrobots, or they may, through an innate conservatism choose to align with Sanity. They also could out of mindless tribalism, stay the course of go full Deplorabot. We don’t have voter history here so they best we can do is review posting history and see where they belong, and on that note…..
Stay tune for the third part of this GNN exclusive where we dive deeper into the massive swell in the voter rolls.
