Link up a pic. I'm trying to imagine that with the ass-length dreads you've surely got. :D

No dreads I started thinning a few years back and locks of loved it but I did have long ass hair down my back

SO i have a civil war beard a winter hat I hear like a dwarf cut off combat pants shorts that stop six inches above my ankle and orange soccer socks

Use your imagination

Good thin you're not single. :D

So people arent born male and female ?

Hmm. That's what you got out of that?

That kind of disingenuous argument is part of the problem here. If you make a sincere effort to understand what is being said, you don't get the weird arguments. I understand that you want to deny the distinction between gender and sex (don't know the reason, though). Why is it hard for you to acknowledge that linguistically there is a distinction (and further that people who understand the word "gender" to mean what the dictionary says it means aren't saying anything about biology)? This is one argument that I think completely dissolves if people approach it with intellectual honesty (in that there is little to no substantive disagreement).

What about hermaphrodites, intersex, and other DSDs?

What about them? Sex can be a little weird, too, but this argument is really just about the meaning of the word "gender", while it is often dishonestly framed as an argument about biology (which would make no sense).

I just find that people that are so hung up on gender tend to forget that there are people out there that are literally born without gender physically.

Not you specifically, of course.

lol

So Chris is just dishonest or is he also an idiot?

What do you think? Do you think that there is a legitimate argument (that is, one with adherents on both sides) about whether sex is determined at birth? No, right?

The real argument seems to be about whether we should treat people who prefer to be identified with genders that differ from their sex the way they want to be treated or whether we should insist on trying to force them to conform to gender roles that are identified with their sex. So, basically, it comes down to politeness. I have my view on that, but I don't see it as a policy issue. It's certainly not something that elections are going to impact either way.

And does that mean that you're not allowed to question him on any issue, even when he is openly misrepresenting an argument?

Do what you want. I'm just laughing at how predictable you are with your accusations and the arrogance of insisting what other people really think.
