My opinion so far-
Karl Joseph-Outstanding. We got a sideline-to-sideline hammer with coverage skills. The non-contact knee injury isn't particularly concerning, players recover from that injury well consistently. I also don't buy into the idea that we took him too early. When the player you want is on the board when you're up you take him. A player's pre-draft valuation is not an exact science. I think sooner than later we'll be watching Joseph snag INTs and crush ball-carriers and be saying "damn I'm glad we drafted that motherfucker".
Jihad Ward-Ok so we get a "trust me" pick here. I like the guy's measureables, versatility, and that he's described as a high-motor player. What I don't like is drafting on potential. I guess I'll just have to take a deep breath and have some faith in Reggie that after 2 great drafts in a row he's not throwing a gutter-ball on this one.
Shilique Calhoun-High motor, high production, high character...BAM. Honestly it looks like the last 2 picks should be reversed but whatever. It looks like this guy should be a productive situational pass-rusher immediately. Good pick.
So, I say Reggie went 2 for 3 at worst. I'm as skeptical as anyone about Ward but let's try to follow Pliny's advice and not be negative about this.
