TS enough with the "actually sounds presidential" angle. Anytime he gives a speech he sounds extremely presidential. You should be pointing out the incredible substance of the speech not this "oh wow, Trump went poo poo in the potty!" crap.

He has sounded presidential in plenty of instances. (Although I think moments like him going on the offensive against a Gold Star family was not presidential at all)

The media ignores most of his message and just focuses on soundbites that can paint him in a bad light (some for good reason...some not)

Liberal ideology and the Democratic party has destroyed generations of black communities. Anytime some comes out with a more conservative message that speaks about success, opportunity, strong families, hard work, education, safety, sobriety, economic independence ect the left comes out of the woodwork to mock and stoke racial tensions.

White liberals and the Democratic party do not want us to prosper and achieve any real degree if independence, self esteem, and self respect. They don't and never have seen us equals and as human beings capable of shaping our own lives. They see us as votes and/or opportunities to virtue signal, that's it. So when they see anyone delivering that message prosperity and independence they mock and play the race card just like you see in this thread.

The black people in this country who want to prosper, build families, and enjoy life...of which are the majority...deserve better then condescension and hand holding...we deserve opportunity. That's all we need and all we want.

With all due respect, if you are capable of shaping your own lives-why haven't you?

You don't need a Republican or a Democrat in office to accomplish the majority of the things on your list. And you don't need your circumstances to be ideal or even non-shitty. All you need to do is modify some behaviors. You want to prosper, build families, and enjoy lifes- go right ahead. Fellas- feel free to strap a jimmy on before you go to town. And ladies, feel free to have an abortion if you already have 3 kids from 3 Dads, or don't open your legs unless your fella has strapped one on. With exponentially fewer broken homes and single parent households, maybe you will be able to devote some personal attention to the youngins as they grow. It will be easier to stay on top of them. Things will be more manageable.

Perhaps make some better choices on where your dollars go. Find less destructive vices.

Get those things done, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the opportunities that await on the other end.

Regardless, I think it's pretty naïve to think either Hillary, Donald, or any president will improve the current situation dramatically. And waiting for it is a fools errand. Many, many communities in the country have made some impressive turnarounds. Look them up. And look at who was doing all the graft. (Hint-It was done locally). In fact, that's what the best leaders do. Just look around at what is working the most successfully, and try to replicate it.

So a lot of people have picked apart the letter from Trump's "doctor" verifying that Trump is in excellent health. This doctor, Jen Gunter, did an examination of Trump's letter that had me laughing out loud because:

These are just the times the government went after him.

In 1996, he was sued for not upholding a deal he made to hire a large percentage of minorities for a casino in Indiana. Trump made the deal in order to gain approval to create the business.

These are just the times he's been sued. Factor in the time he said illegals were rapists, a judge couldn't rule fairly because of his heritage, "there's my black guy!", and the other ridiculous things this guy has done, and it's pretty obvious what his views are. Not to mention, he was the most egregious member of the birther movement.

yes they were all wrong about brexit, too. the media gets paid by clinton and they are also liberal biased. they did the same thing with bernie sanders, he won a lot of polls and states that the media said he was losing. indiana for example. his win was only a surprise to people following the medias bullshit.

ummm I listed at least 3 occasions where he was found violating civil rights. Math is hard, I know. 1973,1978,1992.

You can deal with almost all of these things locally. Values and attitudes are all on you. Most of the teachers teaching your kids live in your communities. Parents can and should step in when they need to. Drug and alcohol use is a choice. And you might not be able prevent yourself from becoming a victim of violent crime, but you can definitely prevent yourself from becoming a perpetrator.

The economy- you are gonna need some help with that at the national level. But if you look at the last 8 years of Democratic leadership and compare it to the prior 8 of Republican leadership, I don't see how you can come away thinking Republican policies are the answer. It's taken 8 years to get the economy half way out of the ditch.

Its much much easier to not do the local things necessary to turn things around than to do them. That is why they have not been done.
