LOL!! What a slimey, disingenuous, pandering, lying cuck bitch. Putin would be bending him over the oval office desk with a strap-on within the first year.

That's where we came to a halt. I don't believe past deals had a negative impact on the US. And if you think they will then you should be pushing for a bigger TPA package imo instead of throwing out the entire deal.

The goal of the TPP is more about getting Asia on board with American business interests instead of Chinese interests
And that's where you didn't pull up the link I sent you, or address this chart:

And I do have to laugh about making the TPP bigger. I'll have to ask once again, what "free trade" agreement produced more/better higher paying jobs for the manufacturing class?

The whole idea of not doing the TPP is to at least save jobs that are already here. I just can't find the logic in making another free trade deal bigger so that it would grow manufacturing jobs, when it's a fundamental truth that those jobs will go from the more economically prosperous country to the least. It makes no sense whatsoever.

There was still no message and he looked awkward as hell delivering it. It reminded me of a knock off of some speech already done to death... It was basically just a bunch of political cliches and nothing more. The guy is a buffoon and the damage is done

story on how chris christie turned a trump 30 million debt into a 5 million dollar debt
Is this the system being rigged trump talks about?

Half the time Trump lies, half the time the media is twisting his words. But I don't know, for some reason I buy it. I'm sure Mr. Trump will be looking out for the African American community once he becomes president....

Could you please source me these multiple civil rights suits, because I seem to only be able to find a suit from 1973 involving rentals.

sure.

1973
“The government contended that Trump Management had refused to rent or negotiate rentals ‘because of race and color,’ ” The Times reported. “It also charged that the company had required different rental terms and conditions because of race and that it had misrepresented to blacks that apartments were not available.”

1978
But less than three years later, the DOJ and the Trumps were back in court again, with the government charging that the real estate company wasn’t complying with the agreed terms in the consent decree. In 1978, the DOJ charged that “racially discriminatory conduct by Trump agents has occurred with such frequency that it has created a substantial impediment to the full enjoyment of equal opportunity.”

The DOJ filed a motion for supplemental relief which entailed a “substantial extension” of the consent decree, additional affirmative action, and a requirement that Trump continue to report to the court and the United States.

1992
TRENTON, N.J. -- The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino has lost a bid to overturn a $200,000 penalty imposed because managers catered to the presumed prejudices of a high roller by removing a black dealer from his table.

These are just the times the government went after him.

In 1996, he was sued for not upholding a deal he made to hire a large percentage of minorities for a casino in Indiana. Trump made the deal in order to gain approval to create the business.

These are just the times he's been sued. Factor in the time he said illegals were rapists, a judge couldn't rule fairly because of his heritage, "there's my black guy!", and the other ridiculous things this guy has done, and it's pretty obvious what his views are. Not to mention, he was the most egregious member of the birther movement.

LOL Such a rare occurrence that Trump gives a speech where he doesn't just act like a prick to everyone and TS runs in all excited to tell people.

"GUYS GUYS GUYS MY MAN CRUSH DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING STUPID THIS TIME!"

Could you please source me these multiple civil rights suits, because I seem to only be able to find a suit from 1973 involving rentals.

  • 1970's - sued for discriminatory housing practices.
  • 1991 - Fined for moving African American dealers from craps tables to satisfy racist mob guy. (In interest of fairness, Trump was never personally held liable)

That's all I could find so I have to side with you against the person you quoted on this one.

EDIT
Kill Kill found more than I did.

He kept saying here in Milwaukee, but he was in West Bend. About an hour away and over 90% white.

I don't think pointing out that trump finally gave a speech that sounds "presidential" is a good strategy.

This is actually quite pathetic.

It probably won't increase the black vote at all.

That wasn't my question though. Do you agree with the message or not?

Don't know what it'll do to his percentage of the black vote but it will make things more interesting. Since the Pulse nightclub massacre Trump has made some direct pitches to the gay community. Check out the comments section on websites like The Advocate for articles discussing Trump. There's a lot of political infighting going on that was hardly imaginable ten months ago. I can see speechces like this one doing the same thing to the black community. If I had to guess I'd say the effect will be suppressed turnout for a lot of traditional democrat voting blocks - more so than any tangible switch in party allegiance.

His speeches were not about the gay community, they were about radical Islam. He just used the Pulse night club as an example.

Besides, any outreach to the gay community would be futile. He appointed Mike Pence, the most outspoken anti gay politician, as his running mate.

A break from the normal douchebaggery does not make this presidential.

Lol @ the lefties losin it in here.

My comment is on the discussions I see going on in gay advocacy websites. They are starkly different than what you would have imagined ten months ago.

And like I said, I don't think he's actively winning any voters. Rather he's sowing disillusionment

Really? Do you have any links? I know a lot of people within the gay community and they all despise Trump. Naturally, the majority of them hold very liberal views.

Thanks for letting me know that.

I am more interested in politicians preaching messages like this though than them tiptoeing around the issue even if it doesn't gain him a single vote. If it gains him some votes great. I just hope that more politicians follow suit with similar messaging.

The speech was trash, I cringed every time he said African American. Saying African American will not get the black vote.
