Clearly he doesn't want Trump as the nominee but calling him the textbook definition of a racist while saying he will be voting for him is supporting him.

Every time Trump says something dumb, Ryan is forced to defend him. He does so clearly half heartedly, but he still does.
Nah, it's not supporting Trump at all, and he hardly ever misses an opportunity to not defend Trump. Ryan has thrown subterfuge at Trump at every turn, and that's because he's probably looking at a run in 2020 and it won't happen if Trump wins. Ryan clearly doesn't support Trump and he sure as isn't "bending over backwards" to support Trump.

California and New York state being electoral vote "winner take all" states is the only reason Democrats are competitive in national elections.

Funny, the last election in which the popular vote winner did not win the elector college was when Bush won in 2000.

It's looking more and more like Trump will be crushed on election day, as Trump's campaign and the GOP platform implodes. What do the days after Hillary's election look like, resigned but humble defeat or mass organized protests?

For better or for worse and whether he wins or loses, I think Trump's campaign will completely change the GOP for a generation or so. I imagine a lot of debates in the future being framed as not liberal vs conservative but globalist vs nationalist. From that perspective, I could see Clinton (or Trump) being able to get bi-partisan support on some issues, but internal party discord on other issues.

Could be some violence, judging by what I read here. The GOP has convinced their base and even some non-Republicans here that Clinton doesn't just disagree with them about what's best for the country, but is actually a malevolent force who will destroy the country.

I doubt there will be any sort of widespread rioting if Trump loses big.

He's always been more of a fad than a real candidate. The Shakeweight/Shamwow of election candidates.

Once he gets branded as "the guy who lost the election" the party will try to find the opposite sort of person, just like Trump was way different than Romney. Resources for the next three years will be directed into the Clinton Hate Machine. Life will go on.

The hate machine has never been running at this capacity. I really think it's gonna blow. Probably just a few isolated whackos, but could be worse.

What is this based on? That Hilary has the lead in surveys from what I know Trump still has the edge in number of supporters.

Why do you think it looks like Hillary will win in a landslide?

Do you not understand how polls work and what they measure?

To be honest Trump ever had a real chance?

As foreigner it seem to me that HC will get good part of

-women votes
-minority votes
-left votes
-obamafanboys votes
-moderate votes
-anti-trump votes
-poor votes

I understand many of these overlap, but still seem a fuckton of peoples

The only violence will come from Leftists if Trump wins. The vast majority of violence over the duration of this election campaign has come from the Left.

Anything can happen. But I can't see Hillary winning by a landslide. Not right now anyway. I actually think trump would win if we voted right now.

You have the wrong party if you are expecting violence and rioting.

If he loses I could see him rebranding himself as the "man who could've saved America". He will become a Fox News regular commenting on "controversial" events, meanwhile selling everything from hats to t-shirts to Trump-brand asskicking boots.

That's the way I see it. If Trump wins, there would definitely be civil unrest.

I guarantee there will be riots if Trump somehow wins this. The media has been bombarding everyone with the message that he's "literally Hitler", and you just know that if the election gets closer and he hasn't imploded yet, they're gonna ramp it up. If he wins, a lot of people won't accept it. There's gonna be a lot of violence.
